you're the one who offered a 49ers avatar if the eagles lost :D

we'll be back next week to take out your division rivals in frisco. nolan wont stand for this!

Feel Free to do so

Former L.A. Rams wide receiver Willie "Flipper" Anderson was watching the Eagles/49ers game intently. At one point in the second quarter, Terrell Owens had 5 catches for 143 yards. Lucky for Anderson, the Eagles went conservative in the second half and eventually took the starters out of the game. Still, Anderson was biting his nails while watching the game.

"I thought that was it," said Anderson, who feared that his record 336 yard performance on Monday Night Football was in jeopardy, "When I saw him catch that second touchdown, it was obvious that whole secondary couldn't run with him. He was shooting away from them like the Millennium Falcon. I was pretty sure he was gonna have both records."

Cadillac's family (and some extraneous people): "That's our boy!"

Cadillac, "layin' hands" on Clements! Caddy: "I rebuke you!"

"Coming out of halftime, it felt like I couldn't go. Then once I told coach (Jon) Gruden I wanted to go, they still wouldn't let me go," Williams said. "I had to kind of stress the point, 'I'm going.'"

:*O

Buffalo had 77 yards total offense before gaining 68 on its last possession.

How's that for an "inflated stat?" In the end, Bills will get 145 total yds. In fact it sounds just like the Cadillac-quibbling. 77 rush yds, then 71 on the final run. :lol

Speaking of GB, the Bucs destruction tour continues! Onward to Lambeau!

play your second string. it'll still be close, but at least the packers will feel better when they lose

I should slap CBS for not showing the Indy-Jacksonville game. That should be a crime. I wonder if NFL network will show it or show it as a game of the week or something. Anybody know? How does NFL network pick or when do they decide? Nothing on their website now.

At least the Falcons put together an awesome second half.

I hope Vick's hammy isn't too bad. That could haunt him all year. It might be time for a little bit of the "Clear". :D

Carolina looks really nice.
Jags worked their bags off.
Seahawks can't catch a cold.
Did SF dress their practice roster?
Bucs? Ah please not another year with the Bucs. Anyone but the Bucs. :)

I've never been happier to get a pick wrong in my life.

Every single bitch who wrote the Panthers off, who called them overrated-UP.YOUR.ASS.

The march, the march-THE MARCH TO THE BOWL BEGINS.

Uh, I was watching this intermittently throughout the Detroit game, and I have to say that I wasn't impressed at all. Peyton was playing like it was the AFC Championship. Only guy on the Indy O that showed up to play was Edge, and he did indeed kick some ass. That last shot by Jacksonville came out of nowhere, as I flipped back and everyone was going apeshit suddenly with 3 seconds left, haha.

Anyways, yeah... Bill Simmons may be onto something by picking Chicago to go 10-6.

Looks like it's going through Tampa thus far. ;)

EDIT: I have to agree with Duce a little, I believed the Panthers would solid, but going into the season I felt they were rated/hyped higher than deserved.

I dont know how you true fans of your games can watch a game and type on here while the game is still on.... i guess you all might not have direct ticket and you have time in between commercials and all.... I am going to try it tonight with the chiefs game....

As a Lions fan, I've earned the right not to have my cheering habits questioned by people who cheer for teams who've ever won a championship. Ever.

I used to have the TV by the comp, not right now though :(...that'll change in Nov though. So you could post between plays. :)

They were still overrated after last week. My newspaper had them at number 5 in the powerrankings today. They started at number 1, im sure thats where they will be in next sundays paper.

? are u saying KC never won the super bowl??

also I have a tv next to my comp, i just get to hype watching it to even care about a board... we shall see tonight!...

I just want to know... how many think the Browns suck, here?
And do you like the Steelers better?

I personally feel that most Browns fans brag a lot about their team, but really don't have the right to :p

Our Priest in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil Raiders.

After my terrible showing from last week, I probably shouldn't bother. But I can't help it!

Sunday, Sep. 18th
Pittsburgh at Houston, 1:00 p.m.
Detroit at Chicago, 1:00 p.m.- See, Chitown has a defense, something GB lacks.
Minnesota at Cincinnati, 1:00 p.m.- Go Bungles! And go Rudi! You're my top back in my money league!
Jacksonville at Indianapolis, 1:00 p.m.
Baltimore at Tennessee, 1:00 p.m.- But only if Boller doesn't play.
New England at Carolina, 1:00 p.m.
Buffalo at Tampa Bay, 1:00 p.m.- What the fuck is wrong with me? Is Cadillac THAT good that he has me picking the Fucs to win? Yes.
San Francisco at Philadelphia, 1:00 p.m.- Time to come back to Earth, ladies.
St. Louis at Arizona, 4:05 p.m.- I don't like either of these teams, but Warner has to break his uterus at some point, so why not against his old team? If Rams fans are lucky, he'll take Martz out with him somehow.
Atlanta at Seattle, 4:05 p.m.- A curbstomping of magnificent proportions. Oh yes.
Miami at NY Jets, 4:15 p.m.- I'm sure the Dolphins aren't as good as they played this week. But I'm also sure the Jets are as BAD as they played this week.
Cleveland at Green Bay, 4:15 p.m.- Green Bay may not win a game all season long
San Diego at Denver, 4:15 p.m.- The Return of the Difference Maker
Kansas City at Oakland, 8:30 p.m.- Call me crazy if you want, but I really like the Raiders offense. And KCs defense still sucks IMO.

Monday, Sep. 19th
NY Giants at New Orleans, 7:30 p.m.- Reality check for the Saints
Washington at Dallas, 9:00 p.m. - It's like Gibbs is determined to make his job harder by sticking with a shitty playbook and going from a mediocre young quarterback to a washed up old one.

8-5, not bad so far. And I was telling my roomie earlier tonight, even though I'm an Atlanta native and a big Falcons fan, the Bucs are gonna win the division. The Falcons have a tough schedule and Cadillac is a fucking beast.

It looks like the Chiefs chose to sit back and play prevent defense hoping Collins would blow the game for the Raiders if they had to work it down the field safe. Seriously, Surtain was playing like 20 yards off of Jerry Porter that one play.. wtf.

THe score says 0-0? lol

Ive wondered about this myself but I figured a lot of people are watching stats for fantasy football and stuff anyways so they post here when checking stats. when the Cowboys play though I dont get anywhere near the PC unless its a blowout or during half time.

No offense to Diablos, but who here is mildly offended at being told of the Steeler/Brown rivalry by, of all people, Diablos?

edit--Mally, since you're here, are you going to be up for our game after this one or would you rather wait till tomorrow or tuesday?

Depending on how this game flows... I will let you know by half time

Why mildly offended? Anyone from Pittsburgh or Cleveland, sports fanatic or not, will tell you that Steelers fans hate Browns fans, and Browns fans hate Steelers fans.

Yeah, we know. But thanks for telling us :D

But why are you mildly offended?

::scratches head::

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to have a moment of silence for Miguel, who is probably feeling the same way Carr looked on the field today. Don't worry, MiG. They will have their time to shine. Maybe.
