I don't know of any other image viewer that can handle 60,000 images in 400 different directories without taking ages to load up a slide show. And the ability to reset the default settings is awesome. Full screen, shrink/grow image to fit the screen, random.
You guys should try IrfanView, it's excellent (and handles modern formats)
Yes, Windows XP definitely counts as old software, it came out in 2001. I would recommend to anyone who's still using it to upgrade. It's not going to be receiving security updates for very much longer and it has very bad built-in security features of its own. (it takes more than just anti-virus software and a firewall to make a computer secure)
