I know I got bored after the Arabasta arc and totally stopped watching, but I picked it back up a few weeks ago on the Skypiea arc (which started out great but went way too long) and it just got better and better with Water 7 -> Enies Lobby.
 
I hope one piece keeps a bit of the serious aire in the second half of the grand line...I think it is about time to show how powerful the grandline is...one piece is really great...but the first half of the grandline wasnt really what I was expecting...I get the impression this second half is going to be insane...the strawhats are going to be challenged beyond their limits

HOLY SHIT!!! I knew Shanks was strong but this ****ing strong?!?! Imagine him with both arms :O ODA IS A GOD. This god damn story keeps getting better and better. Such a talented mofo.
 
I think what I really liked about this chapter as well is it seems Blackbeard is gonna be a true force in the One Piece world. He was able to give Shanks that scar on his left eye.
 
gah, white beard is the man...seriously, hes shot up to being one of my fave characters in one piece...all his crew are his sons...he wants to teach black beard the pirate code....I would love for white beard to take out black beard personally

I remember reading in Arlong Park that Oda was basically forced to change it, and made some news post about it before the chapter came out.
 
LOL Buggy should have stayed with Shanks :lol Also, i could have sworn Gold D. Roger would turn out to be Luffy's father. I cant wait to see Hawkeyes in action again, jesus...so much awesome moments to look forward to. Its amazing how Shank's legend has grown, and he's only appeared in a few pages.

Sogeking - 30,000,000
Nami - 16,000,000
Chopper - 50 (corrected from 50,000)

Sanji finally gets on a wanted poster and it's just some shitty drawing of him :lol

Nami's is hot though!

Also appears Aokiji interrupts Ace and Blackbeards fight.
 
I guess we have to wait until it comes out clear but I also heard that Chopper's bounty is 50 beris not 50,000. I really hope that's true. :lol

Even the Marines think he's too cute to ask for his death! The early trans even says "cotton candy loving" :lol

And maybe it's just me, but Sogeking getting a wanted poster is just plain awesome. Interesting to note "Black Leg Sanji" to relate to "Red Leg Zeff" too.

Some of the best shipwrights from Water 7 are helping out with the construction of the new ship.

Other than Mugiwara (and franky), those who are involved in the enie lobby invasion are not wanted by the marine. This maybe a decision of the benevolent Aokiji.

The SH are having a break at Water 7.
Zoro is looking for a new sword but he has no money and chased away by the shopkeeper.
Ussop figuring how to rejoin them.

Marine HQ renews SH bounties.

Straw Hat Luffy, 300 million
Zoro the Pirate Hunter, 120 million
Robin the child of Demons, 80 million
Sanji the black leg, 77 million
SogeKing the sharp shooter, 30 million
Nami the burglar cat (?), 16 million
Chopper the cotton candy lover, 50 beri, lol
Franky the Cyborg, 47 million

And we will see their various reaction.

SH new ship is close to completion and the next destination on their log pose is the Fishman Island.

A worried funny Sanji starts to imagine if every girls at the Fishman Island are like Kokoro.

Kokoro assures him there are young Mermaids there, but she hinted it is difficult to reach the Fishman Island (underwater?)

Franky gang arrives and beg Luffy to take the Wanted Franky together with them.

Chopper and Sanji's bounties are hilarious, especially their reactions. Looks like Zoro has something else to make fun of Sanji about instead of not having a bounty. At least with Chopper, Ussop, and Sanji's wanted posters the three of them can still sneak around undetected in towns (Chopper changing form, Ussop not wearing his Sogeking outfit, and Sanji not making any ridiculous faces to resemble that sketch).

I like the way Oda handled Franky going with the Strawhats. The only obstacle for Franky was his gang, and with them pushing for the Strawhats to take him, there are no obstacles for Franky joining anymore.

I hope we'll still get to see the Ace/Blackbeard and Whitebeard/Shanks fights in a future chapter. Since this chapter cut completely away from the fights right when they were starting, we may end up getting an update chapter where we just see the results of the fights to keep their abilities under wraps.
 
I just finished the Arabasta arc, and I'm absolutely loving this anime. It had me with the Arlong portion, but it just keeps getting better and better. Easily, my favorite scene at this point is when
the classical music plays as Luffy blows Crocodile away with his storm attack.
 
I went from episode 207 to 283 just this weekend :o

**** kaizoku, they might have problems with their translator but its been over a month for 208. So i went with ADC

Anyway, lets just say, Water 7 is OMG!!

And finally, the last 5 episodes were character recaps, but 284 is out now and it resumes enies lobby's arc, downloading now, cant wait to see the crew kick some ass. The buildup to this moment has been so epic, crazy.
 
Alright I am upto the APIS arc. Around the late 50's in terms of the episodes I am at.

Apis is the most annoying girl ever. I really want her dead. Did you guys feel the same way about her?


On another note...I was just curious about if it's possible to eat more than one devil fruits and obtain additional powers?

Not looking for spoilers but just want to know if they talk about this subject in the following episodes.

Oda in a interview said a new devil fruit will override the old one.
 
I didn't think Apis was too bad, I've had more of a problem with some of the single episode fillers right after Arabasta, like the curry chef episode, goat man and the fireworks girl. Also, I really hated the desert crossing filler, despite loving the Arabasta arc. I liked Rainbow Mist too.

I seem to recall the soap/bubble girl saying during most recent arc that eating a second devil fruit would destroy the user instantly.
Maybe I'm remembering wrong though...

Just skipped the Apis filler...and yep things are getting interesting now....Even though Luffy is a moron...he's really good with solving people's problems....I don't know it I worded if correctly...but the whole situation with Laboon the Whale's problem...how everyone thinks he is always going to do something stupid but then he surprises them.


Any how exactly do I hide my text for spoilers?
 
I stopped watching about a year and a half ago, because there were fillers and I never got around to watching one piece after it. I think I got to 145 (Luffy and the rest were helping an old man they thought was about to die or something like that). Which episode did it return to the canon? I hate fillers :(

IIRC, the filler lasted from 130-145.

Oda stated it in the SBS. Two fruits would kill the one who ate them.
