So this one is finished and i can start working on the Zelda LA one!
Wip for the LA art. I had a hard time deciding on the aspect i should look for. It's a simple image to begin with but i want to add something to it, while not changing it too much. Don't want something really realistic ..
Looks lovely. Small details like crabs on the beach, and fish in the sea could go a long way together with the seagulls.
I've not played the game yet, but maybe there's something you can add to the horizon as well? I suppose one wouldn't want to add too much either.
I love this already, nice feelings
Don't forget the coconuts please
You could maybe add a wrecked ship on the horizon maybe some flotsam
Or a add a reference to another nintendo ip since LA is full of that
I'll add small things yeah for sure, there are the kinda seeds already. Now i don't want to hide too much things in the horizon that are not here to begin with, cause people who like the game like that scene for what it is. There is a story to it it's not just random.
I checked the map and there is nothing here in front of them as it's on the edge of it.
True, I would prefer it to be as simple as possible. Just thought the shipwreck in the distance would be a nice touch since you see Link getting shipwrecked in the intro
But it wouldn't still be floating I don't know that could be a good idea but i don't like to do things that would not be coherent with that moment in the game.
I'm just spitballing here to offer some constructive feedback:
You've got the palm-trees set further apart than the original picture. Which, combined with how small you've sketched the characters, could be why it feels "empty" or missing something. You also seem to have a wider aspect ratio.
Perhaps just setting the characters closer to the camera, making them larger, could help?
Maybe move the trees? Doesn't seem like that'll be possible without starting over, though.
Amazing work!
Nice orioto!
You even added a little bit of flotsam, I like the barrell.
Not sure yet If I get the bw or coloured version...
Both what version did you play ?
I only played the original black and white version so i'm tending to buying that
but maybe i'll get both
Better be Salt Lake City with the giraffesSo Orioto, any updates as to what you will do for Last of Us? Excited to see how that one turns out.

Looking pretty, pretty, pretty good. Are you going for a more realistic approach? Looks a lot different compared to your other ones.Workin' on it, there will be more green on the ground!
Finally got a chance to catch up on your recent work, and I really like how that Ice Palace turned out. There's so much detail in that one - looks like it took many hours to complete. I might have missed it, but what was the inspiration for this one (game/movie)?
The Xenoblade - Bionis's Leg looks marvelous! Great vantage point, using the valley walls and vertical elements to focus the viewer's attention, yet being open enough at the top to make you curious what is just over that ridge. The vibrant colors and great lighting make it feel like a warm summer day. Really great job!
I also enjoyed the LoZ:OoT (silhouette), Sonic, and Stranger Things pictures as well!

Those trees literally look real that's why I was asking if you were going for a more realistic approach as opposed to what you normally do. But the new update, good lord, it looks fantastic so far. I'm glad you did an original scene and not something from the game.
Orioto any chance of doing another stranger things wall? ST spoilersMaybe one with ele destroying the monster, hand stretching out and screaming at it?
This is insanely good
Orioto, you are one talented individual.
Hahaha. I was just using the meme for you saying Uncharted plays like MetroidThx guys!
