Overwatch porn is being forced offline by DMCA takedown notices

By now people should realize that there is and always will be porn for E-V-E-R-Y S-I-N-G-L-E -T-H-I-N-G. Yes, even for that innocent show aimed at children that just popped up in your head. It's just the way it is and it's pointless to get worked up about it. It's not like it's hurting anyone or being shoved in your face. Don't search for it and you won't see it. Pretty easy to ignore.

I think this is relevant for people that are confused about others beating it off to fictional characters.

They should of waited a bit longer to see if it got totally out of hand. Them trying to kill it so quickly is just going to make it worse.

Sidenote.....There is Bioshock porn? Wow....I don't want to think of the plasmids people come up with. lol.

Elizabeth selfcest. Lots of Elizabeth selfcest.

I recently straight up held a Survey to get peep's R34 ideas in the furry community. Zootopia was #1 by a ridiculous margin.

Second is Digimon.

The saga of Overwatch porn is the most hilarious thing to happen in a long time. And by saga I mean finding out it existed and then being continuously reminded that it exists.

So I don't play the game but quickly searched for it and I'm impressed? How are people making these impressive extensive 3D animations like this with high quality game models? There are talented and dedicated people out there, they even have voice acting, lol.

I guess I can sort of get Blizzard's perspective. Since they're going after the ones that involve the actual models from the game.

I still think it's a pointless endeavor though. If anything they're probably gonna be tempted to make more.

Also I didn't realize there were so many people new to the internet here on GAF

If you want a healthy online community it's important to get rid of porn.

That's why you won't find any Splatoon, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, League of Legends, or Warcraft porn out there.

Uh huh, right

Phew, lucky I saved all those SFM gifs!

Honestly though, I don't see why Blizzard is trying to take this down (if we safely assume it is Blizzard). Most (if not all) Rule34 content is free, nobody is making a profit on having two characters go at it. I understand the models being using in other programs can be a problem but if it's also about peoples own artwork, then just let it be. Let people make and enjoy their porn!

Source Filmmaker mainly, it's a fairly simple program to learn. Models are ripped from a games files and then individuals port them to Source Filmmaker and then upload them for others to download and use. The voice acting can just be sound files pulled from games or fans answering an artists request for voice acting.

Controvery = sales... Honestly it serves two purposes. It allows them to go "Look we're wholesome! See how in our videos no one actually dies and how we work to stamp out porn based on our stuff?" while also stirring the hornets nest that will undoubtedly create even more buzz.

I remember reading an article about a very dedicated Bioshock fan bringing out something very impressive a couple of years ago. If some overwatch stuff is as good as this then banning it won't stop people from reuploading it. I don't understand why companies try to 'delete' something popular from the internet in the first place. It's impossible and they should know better.

Asking For No More BioShock Porn Means We Get More BioShock Porn.

But Zone's work is interesting, because it's technically impressive. A lot of work has gone into drawing and animating this. It also shows a genuine appreciation for the source material that goes way beyond standard porn parody limits, right down to some hilarious "tears" that open up into, well, places that aren't REM songs.

Zone has also spent a ton of time on the audio, which is again impressive, if not also a touch unsettling. Rather than using a voice actor, Zone has scraped and modified actual in-game audio from Elizabeth's lines of dialogue.
