The force is strong this week as Microsofts Kinect Star Wars brings EAs five week run at the top to an end, pushing FIFA Street (+3%) down to No2. Its the first Star Wars game to reach No1 in the All Formats Chart since Star Wars: The Force Unleashed back in W39 2008. Its also the first game that requires use of the Kinect Sensor to top the chart. EA have still had a good Easter holiday, grabbing the rest of the Top 5 with Mass Effect 3 (+0%) down one place to No3, FIFA 12 (+48%) up one place to No4 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 (-10%) slipping two places to No5. There are healthy holiday sales uplifts for the rest of the Top 10 with Modern Warfare 3 (+76%) up one place to No6, SSX (+72%) gaining 3 places, up to No7 and Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games (+66%) up one to No8. Previous No1s Battlefield 3 (+55%) and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (+57%) round off the Top 10 at Nos 9 and 10 respectively. Skylanders (+130%) and Moshi Monsters (+92%) make the most of Easter Holiday spending, surging up the chart to Nos 12 and 13. Price promotions propel Street Fighter X Tekken (+141%), WWE 12 (+110%) and Sonic Generations (+88%) back into the Top 40 at Nos 20, 22 and 24, while the only other new entry this week is Devil May Cry HD Collection debuting at No18.

So many things rising... However, I seriously don't understand why Kid Icarus, after a good second week, had such a big drop. Maybe shortages? I don't want to sound like Sony people, but it hadn't had such a big drop last week. Bah, maybe single SKUS chart will make things look better in the end. I think BKK has a big role in all this. XD
