It hit the number one spot in its first week and then dropped out of the top 40 ever since because the game was severely understocked in the UK. The fact that it's climbing back into the charts is a good thing.

Honestly though, that initial buzz surrounding the game's release is pretty much gone now. Deep Silver has missed out on a lot of potential copies sold because of how much they underestimated the market.

So, I suppose that means that it's almost 1:1 ratio with the console, correct? In that case, I suppose we can estimate around 100,000 units in Spain (remember: these estimates are usually slightly bigger / lower than the actual numbers, and in BOTW's case it should be an overestimate, since the guy had it at 44,000 at launch week, while it actually sold around 39,000 copies).

Almost 1:1 ratio with the console and Mario Kart almost 50% of ratio, he said.
LTD of this source always have a margin of error, bigger or smaller. Probably with Zelda is +-10,000.

Next May 27-28, we'll see Hobby Consolas sources to compare.

A final new entry in the All Formats Top 40 goes to 505 Games with ‘Portal Knights’ in at No30. Even thought Fates didn't do great, I was expecting Farpoint to launch below Echos numbers. Pleasantly surprised to see it up there behind Injustice 2.

Probably didn't set the world on fire and digital ratio will likely be low as people want the gun, but still, better than I would have expected.

The VR with expensive accessory is no.2.

I've seen and heard anecdotes of it selling well but seeing it on top of charts still Shook me.

That's a bit of a limited view. MK8D slipped because of new releases (3 in fact, which explain the 3 rank drop), and the same holds for Zelda. We can't say anything concrete about the performance of any game just by looking at the chart ranking, unfortunately.

It's a strong start for the fighting game, and it is the first game in the genre to reach No.1 since Mortal Kombat X in 2015 (a title also developed by NetherRealm). The last Injustice game also reached the top spot back in 2013, and the launch week sales of Injustice 2 is around a third higher than its predecessor.

Mario Kart 8: Deluxe only saw a sales slide of 16%, but it was enough to send the game from No.3 to No.6.
