Dear Mr Shareholder. We sold a pathetic amount of copies this week that didn't meet expectations but on the bright side we did come first for a week on one country.
What the hell is causing the GTA spikes?
Wow, great numbers for MK8D and BOTW!

So, I suppose that means that it's almost 1:1 ratio with the console, correct? In that case, I suppose we can estimate around 100,000 units in Spain (remember: these estimates are usually slightly bigger / lower than the actual numbers, and in BOTW's case it should be an overestimate, since the guy had it at 44,000 at launch week, while it actually sold around 39,000 copies).
Almost 1:1 ratio with the console and Mario Kart almost 50% of ratio, he said.
LTD of this source always have a margin of error, bigger or smaller. Probably with Zelda is +-10,000.
Next May 27-28, we'll see Hobby Consolas sources to compare.
Injustice 2 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor Injustice: Gods Among Us by making No1 in the All Formats Chart in its launch week. It is Warners first No1 of 2017 and the first beat em up to reach No1 since Mortal Kombat X, also developed by NetherRealm and published by Warner, back in W18 2015.
Sonys new VR title Farpoint debuts at No2, making it the highest position a VR required title has ever reached in the All Formats Chart, surpassing Playstation VR Worlds which debuted at No7 in W41 2016.
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia from Nintendo hits No5 in its launch week, while Focus Home Interactives new title The Surge debuts at No10, forcing Lego Worlds out of the Top 10 for the first time since its release, slipping to No11. A final new entry in the All Formats Top 40 goes to 505 Games with Portal Knights in at No30. Several older titles re-enter the chart thanks to a retailers huge clearance sale, most notably Skylanders Superchargers, back in at No20 and Destiny: The Collection back in at No31.
Zelda out of the top 10 and Mario Kart D slipping. I'm actually somewhat surprised by this.
That's a bit of a limited view. MK8D slipped because of new releases (3 in fact, which explain the 3 rank drop), and the same holds for Zelda. We can't say anything concrete about the performance of any game just by looking at the chart ranking, unfortunately.Zelda out of the top 10 and Mario Kart D slipping. I'm actually somewhat surprised by this.
And a VR game at No2. PSVR really is the Field of Dreams!
It's a strong start for the fighting game, and it is the first game in the genre to reach No.1 since Mortal Kombat X in 2015 (a title also developed by NetherRealm). The last Injustice game also reached the top spot back in 2013, and the launch week sales of Injustice 2 is around a third higher than its predecessor.
[...]
All these new titles mean that some games have taken a tumble. Prey slips to No.4 (behind GTA V), with a slight 31% drop in sales. Mario Kart 8: Deluxe only saw a sales slide of 16%, but it was enough to send the game from No.3 to No.6. Meanwhile, LEGO Worlds and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild finally say goodbye to the Top Ten (for a week at least), after nearly three months.
Seems like MK8D is going to be legging around for a while at this sales level, which is nice.Injustice 2 +31% up over Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Prey [-31%]
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe [-16%]
