I am very happy to see Borderlands 2 Vita managed to chart :) :) :). Great game, imho it deserves it.

And, maybe if it does well enough Sony might throw us Vita owners another bone :).

A Pre-Sequel shaped bone...

Or Fallout.

Ok, yes, I'm dreaming and that's not going to happen and I'd be happy to get a pre-sequel shaped bone too. But you can't stop me from dreaming about getting Fallout on my Vita. Hell, I'd be almost as excited to get the original Fallouts on my Vita (rather play on my Vita than on my computer honestly. Hard to get me to play any games on my computer cause I get too distracted by internet).

I think Sony would be smart to target games like those (or Elder Scrolls). Not everything would work well on Vita, but stuff like that would. Whether it would be economically viable (or even run well on Vita) is another matter.

I'm surprised they haven't chased after Borderlands Pre-Sequel though. Seems like too good an opportunity to pass up.

I swear even a port of Fallout on the Vita would sell some. And it can't be too hard to get the original Fallouts on the Vita, I can't remember the last computer I had that couldn't run the original Fallouts (In fact the problem I ran into was I have a mac and my last few macs were too new for them... only cause GoG bothered to get them working on newer macs is why I can play them. And I love GoG for that alone nevermind DRM free).

I will say that if you think Borderlands 2 would be hard to put on Vita, I do think it may just not be feasable to do Fallout as much as I keep dreaming of it. Look how badly they already run on PS3 (worse than B2 runs on Vita.. I mean B2 runs smooth on the Vita compared to Fallout 3 and Vegas on the PS3).

Oh trust me, portable Fallout 3/New Vegas would give me immense pleasure. I just don't see it happening.

Why are strippers at the U.N. bad when they're great at strip clubs???
According to Gameblog.fr (France), Wii U hardware sales increased by tenfold to 20k. Solid numbers it seems. No comment on software sales though.

Did mario kart 8 come out in Italy?

Go on google news write nintendo france mario gameblog. Should be there. Im on my phone duno how to link :(
Gameblog.fr

I'll assume it's this one?

http://www.gameblog.fr/news/43423-france-mario-kart-8-booste-la-wii-u-nous-avons-les-chiffres

Rough Google Translation said:
According to our sources in a large national retailer , the Mario Kart 8 effect is real. And sales of Wii U would have been multiplied by 10 for a week ( it certainly left quite low and thus approaching 20,000 sales).

Record than the largest recorded so far and which corresponded to boost launch of Zelda The Wind Waker HD which allowed the Wii U to sell 7 times before progression. Note that Zelda effect lasted a month.

Mario Kart 8 therefore definitively imposed as the best Wii U sales since its launch in France . For the record , the title has already sold 1.2 million copies worldwide .

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
...20,000 units?

It'd be the same amount sold in freaking Japan thanks to MK8.

WTF

It seems like extrapolation based on guestimation...

At least from that terrible google translation.

In a nutshell:

Source is a "large national retailer" (I'm gonna guess Micromania and, as in, we know someone who works in one of their shops)
WoW x10
WWHD was x7
Best selling WiiU title ever in France (I have no idea where this comes from and highly doubt it's anywhere near true).

PS3 watch dogs higher than XBO watch dogs..

is it possible that PS4 watch dog share in Germany is > 50%?

The PS4 version made up 49% of units in the UK, and that's where the Xbox One is doing best in Europe. So I don't see any way that the PS4 version is well over 50% in Germany.

Wow germany loves Watch Dogs or at least the concept of Watch Dogs I guess

Mario Kart appears to be tracking similar to other regions so far

Absolutely. People balked at me when I said the Vita in Minecraft could have the same success the 360 did, but if a port of a 2 year old entry in a mid-tier series like Borderlands can get to #18...

In what world is Borderlands a mid-tier series? It sold 8.5 million copies!

For some reason PS4 Watch Dogs bundle is not counting on Amazon UK best sellers and it's safe to asume that is selling better than stand alone.

I know, it's strange: it can be bought, but it doesn't show up in the charts. It's also strange it got only 2 reviews since last Tuesday. Don't know what's up.

Actually, I think there is another factor that explains Wii U Premium SKU being shockingly high: remember, UK is a country where not only Wii U is selling abismally, but where many stores actually don't sell it anymore. So, this means that preorders/sales for those who sell it are higher than what they would be the normal situation, where the console is sold everywhere. I've seen the Mario Kart 8 SKU being available at Amazon, Game.co.uk, Shopto and Sainsbury, so it's not just Amazon having that, fortunately.

What does this mean?
Considering how Wii U consoles were completely absent from Amazon top 100 for months and months, excluding fire sales, seeing the SKU introduced with MK8 that high in charts is certainly a pretty good sign compared to the past, but seeing it higher than PS4 doesn't mean it's doing better than PS4, or that it started selling pretty well, or even well, because those are "concentrated" sales compared to a normal situation, since the console isn't available everywhere. Still, definitely a good sign, so far, compared to the recent past.

P.S. Now that I checked Amazon again, there are only 13 Wii U MK8 packs in stock left. Hopefully, it won't be sold out for long :p

Won't it be hard to say if PS4 version of Watch Dog is more than 50% in Germany? While I do get that Xbox One strongest fortress in EU lies in UK, the PS3 version in Germany may held a bigger market share than UK's Xbox One in comparison.
