Legs comparison time! Gran Turismo 5 Prologue vs Forza2:

If you use the individual platform (units) chart for Gt5P it looks like this:

Sadly, for most of Forza data the same chart was not yet provided by chart track, so I used "all prices" chart for it.

To be completely fair, thats how the comparison looks like when you use "all prices" chart for both games.



I think one can say that GT5P drops somewhat slower, but one should not forget that Prologue is selling at substantially lower price in comparison to Forza.

GT5P has also been officially bundled with the PS3 since it released, and for the same price as a standalone PS3 in most places, and is the only PS3 console pack you can get in many places too. Forza 2 didn't get bundled with the 360 (along with VP) until 6-7 months after release.

Forza 2 was never officially bundled, but came as part of the 'entertainment pack' which many retailers started bundling from last November (also included additional controller and VP). Forza 2 came out last May though.

But really, the fact that Forza 2 can stand on its own two feet at all is impressive, compared to the monsterous GT franchise.

Playstation 3 had sold 32k units in Poland by early May. PSP had sold over 50k. GT5P sold 5k copies within 2 weeks. Information from SCE Poland.
