PAL Charts - Week 26, 2008

Spielegrotte started to rip apart the MGS4 bundle, selling the game for 10€ cheaper than the MSRP. Looks like the game was extremely frontloaded.

I think it rather shows how unattractive the european MGS hardware bundle is. You don't get a Dualshock and the game is lacking the slipcase that comes with the standard edition. If the unbundled version weren't cheaper there would be no incentive to chose it over the standard edition because of the missing slipcase and factory sealing.

a little thing bout norway charts

week 26 charts have been published today, so are not published with one week of delay as you think. These charts are published every week Thursday or Friday
So today (as friday july 04th), we have:

Well, when I started handling the PAL Charts threads, the data were posted on monday mornings alone. Looks like they've changed that, interesting. Thanks :)

edit : hmm, just checked their website, and the link for week 26 is nowhere to be found. On the home page clicking the topkonsoll (or whatever) link only gives week 25. Bah. And the links you provide are broken. Duh.

broken? they are working fine in my computer

http://www.vg.no/spill/topp10pc.hbs?liste=1&uke=28&aar=2008

just have to change the week or year number. 28 means week 26. There are always two units difference. Don't know why. So changing the "28" for "29" next thursday or friday we're getting next week data.

and thank you, of course. Gaf is too hard without musings. Don't know what will happen without pal charts :lol

Hmm doesn't work with IE but with FF it does. That's funny because even with FF if you click the main topkonsoll link only week 27 will show up. The plugin I have to make an automated formatting won't work :p
Oh, and they are somewhat late. It says week 28 because it's released on week 28 (well usually it's on mondays of said week, so it should be "officially" available next monday, on week 28. But it still will give data from week 26, so one week behind as compared to, say, chart track which will give data from week 27 next week.
Anyway. Since the script won't work I think I'll just keep on updating the way I used to. But thanks anyway :)

I bought it on NTSC, so didn't bother with it for my PAL machine, and have had no problems but a few people I know have had problems with the PAL version.

Don't worry, it is what you said earlier, the lenses must be shite for dual layer. The reliability of Nintendo's HW is usually excellent, but this time they've settled for poor drives when it comes to dual layer stuff, unfortunately. If I wasn't so particular about keeping dust away from Wii, because of the reported problems, I could've very easily had issues.

If you haven't modded your machine try contacting Nintendo UK, because they have said they will sort it out, free. And try and get some compensation, like some free Wii Points, for the inconvenience.

I'd strongly advice people who send their Wii to Nintendo to backup their mii's and samegames on an SD card. I sent my Wii to Nintendo Netherlands, over the phone I was guaranteed that they would just clean the lense and that I didn't need to worry about my savegames and VC games, but when my Wii arrived back home yesterday it was actually a new Wii (or possibly a refurbished one), so I had lost all my Mii's, savegames and VC / WiiWare downloads.

I could download the VC and WiiWare games again, because when I configured this new Wii I immediately went online to check if my Wii Points are still on my account, and fortunately all the games I ever bought could be downloaded again without charge.
