As a french, I can say there is no surprise there. Nintendo is advertising their games a lot in France. Each week, it's a tidewave. RE 4, Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii, SSBB, Cooking Guide, Brain Tranning, Cerebral Academy, Guitar Hera DS, get a lot of exposure. It's impressive and shows how Nintendo changed with the successful launch of the Wii.

Thanks, being a value chart it's obviously in favour of WiiFit though. Seeing that MK is almost half price that must have really sold a truckload. GTA also has a 20 € higher RRP. MK really is a monster.

Excellent sales for every one of them, but holy shit at both Mario Kart's. Mario Kart Wii is likely nearing a million with just France and the UK alone by now. That's crazy! I think the game has a good shot at outselling the N64 version.

I think Nintendo/SEGA went in overdrive today since the Olympics started and are advertising M&S at the Olympic Games even more than usual. I've seen the ads for it today even more than usual (unless it's my imagination).

Either way, SEGA should've been profitable just because of this game alone. Such a cash cow.
