Don't forget that Amazon.de offered Driveclub for 20 € last year when you pre ordered a PS4, probably a lot of people kept the pre order of the game.

second week position is maybe more interesting, because of the bad reviews and awful Launch of the game.

Also nice to see 2k15 being no.6 even though it has some shitty server problems like Driveclub.

DC beating FIFA in Germany is very impressive. I wouldn't have expected that given how much of a push there was for the digital version.

I guess after the intial server problems (which still seem to be prevalent) and the rather lackluster reviews, DC will vanish quite fast after the first two weeks.

And my personal theory about SmokyDave being pretty high at GFK (given how, before this week, 3DS had top 5 and Vita top 20) has been completely destroyed, gah :(

...seriously, thiugh, isn't that way too much info, after all? I mean, those at the end of top 50...are they even selling hundreds or are they even lower than that?

They seem to have gone from one extreme to the other. I'd love to know what criteria they actually use for deciding the size of each chart. I wouldn't be surprised if the bottom of the chart was in double figures.

At least you get a record of most new releases with a Top 50 chart. This week "RAYMAN AND RABBIDS FAMILY PACK" debuted at #35. Last week "PAC-MAN AND THE GHOSTLY ADVENTURES 2" debuted at #23.

I know 4 guys (including myself) that got DriveClub and all 4 still had their preorder from last year for 20€. Which was a pretty strange situation because the normal retail price was at 69,99€. But I doubt that the 20€ steals were huge part of all sales because you had to preorder it already in september / october 2013 and mostly noone had a ps4 at that time.

Really impressive and unexpected that it did manage to knock FIFA15 of the throne

It will even better with the monthly updates which are even better than the launch game when it lands. They did really have great plan for this game in updates and it might do very well in long term considering user base of PS4 which has no racers yet.

Yeah I'm waiting on the PS+ version myself to see if its to my liking but besides the server debacle it seems they have decent support planned going forward which is positive

Interactive toys games are still more relevant on old gen console, and are performing better on Wii U. Probably so far the demographic for PS4Xbone are more "old" than the ones present on PS360U.
I still think that the absence of a Wii veersion for Disney Infinity was a mistake, btw.

Good showing for Driveclub the game and Evo deserve it (Yes i know about the online but the game is solid) i wasn't expecting it to chart due to its PS+ promotion

Sony have really pulled away in the third quarter, wasn't expecting it with how aggressive MS has been for the past few months.

The lead is pretty much cemented in the UK. MS put a valiant fight, but it's second place from here on out, which everyone already knew, but the numbers make it indisputable.

The last quarter will make it or break it for the Xbox One in both the US and the UK market. This will decide whether MS can dethrone Sony or not, for the rest of the generation, imo.

I really don't think so even if MS somehow won a month or 2 this holiday it won't last the gap will continue growing afterward there is nothing MS can do this gen to dethrone PS4 worldwide, Playstation brand is just too strong.

I think Q4 is going to be do or die situation for MS, with MCC, Ghost Bundles, Sunset they need to close the gap from 50% advantage to around 20% advantage for PS4. if they fail i think it will be going to be disastrous in 2015 for XONE

It's already over for MS. Sunset, MCC, Ass Creed, CoD, won't offer much in terms of a boost to the overall sales picture.

They might make for some nice headlines, Xbox One sells 300% WoW, Xbox One ever so slightly outsells PS4, but that's peanuts to what the X1 needs to be selling to be a real threat to Sony at this stage or to even stay within a competitive range.

It would literally take Sony stopping the sale of PS4 for a good couple of months for them to become competitive again.

It's over. MS have lost the UK, just as they lost the US. They played their last hand with the £329.99 price cut, if the cut again this year, it will negatively impact sales as people decide to stay away due to frequency of price cuts.
