Wii Music should increase for it's 2nd week of sales in line with the other Wii___ titles in the UK - if not then it's in trouble.
:lol Another good call by spwolf...spwolf said:where is the logic behind that? Other Wii ____ titles were #1 on the charts so they had tight supply... Wii Music isnt anywhere close to it, anywhere in the world

Ha... I just noticed PGR4 is sneaking around the top 40.![]()

Looks like that exclusive demo (and the 360 TV advertising spots I am seeing) didn't help matters.... :/

Also Mirror's Edge complete bomba!

Also Mirror's Edge complete bomba, dropped completely away after last weeks mind chart debut.

Quite like the Lips ad actually. Which I've seen a lot of.

Increased position in a i.e Top 40 list does not always mean increased sales though. I think Wii Music increased 1 spot in the Famitsu top 30 about 2 weeks ago or so, but the Wii Music sales were down 2k or 3k compared to the previous week. I think there is a chance that Wii Music could have increased in sales for it's 2nd week in the UK though, since Wii Music jumped relatively many places up and not just 1 spot up like it did in the Famitsu Top 30 chart if i remember correctly, but i'm just sayingWeisheit said::lol Another good call by spwolf...

Mirror's Edge is 11th on the 360 charts, Rockband 2 is #17, MK vs DC is #18, Lips is #19, Banjo is #21, The Last Remnant is #25, Naruto: BB is #28.

Chart Track said:War Rages at No1 for Second Week
24/Nov/2008
Activision Blizzard’s ‘Call of Duty: World at War’ reigns supreme at the top of the All Formats Chart for a second week, holding off challenges from the 2 big new releases: EA with ‘Need for Speed: Undercover’ new at No4 and Eidos with ‘Tomb Raider: Underworld’ new at No9.
Despite sales falling by 51%, ‘COD: World at War’ outsells the No2 title by 2.5 to 1 and does one better than its predecessor by holding on to the No1 spot for a second successive week. EA’s top title this week isn’t the new ‘Need for Speed’, it’s ‘FIFA 09’, as sales of the hugely successful football game jump 28%, up from No5 to No2. Nintendo’s ‘Mario Kart Wii’ accelerates 5 places up the Chart to No3, sales up 33%, followed by the aforementioned ‘Need for Speed: Undercover’ at No4. It is the lowest first week All Formats Chart position for a next-gen NFS title. Nintendo have gone from having one All Formats Top 10 game last week to 4 as sales of not just ‘Mario Kart Wii’, but 3 other longstanding big hitters all enjoy sales spikes – ‘Wii Fit’, up from No12 to No5 (sales up 45%), ‘Brain Training’ up from No13 to No6 (sales up 46%) and ‘Wii Play’ up from No11 to No10 (sales up 22%). Other than the latest Call of Duty, ‘Football Manager 2009’ is the only All Formats Top 10 title to lose sales this week, down from No3 to No7 (sales down 55%), while Eidos’ latest outing for Lara Croft ‘Tomb Raider: Underworld’ only outsells the launch of last year’s original Tomb Raider remake (Tomb Raider: Anniversary) by 6,700 units. The new Tomb Raider records 51% of sales on PS3, 34% on Xbox 360 and the remainder on Wii, PC and DS. Nintendo’s ‘Wii Music’ has a strong second week, up 67% in sales from No16 to No12, while EA register the only other All Formats Top 40 new entry with ‘Left 4 Dead’ at No15. Last week’s No2 ‘World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King’ drops heavily, down from No2 to No34 with sales down 91%, which is in large part due to the newly available Blizzard download option.

(oh and when I wrote my 5 reasons why WiiMusic will sell more in it's 2nd week in the previous thread I was picturing a 25% or so increase so am surprised too, maybe the first week sales were more dissapointing than previously thought?)
And in case I get shot at by Sony fans I am enjoying playing LBP with my Orange, Geeky SackBoy and yet to buy WiiMusic.

What does "money shot" means? The most important week of sales? And if they gave this info away for free, then many people wouldnt buy GDK/CT's sales numbers (they are selling them, right?)? I am just asking to be sure that i understood what you mentnli10 said:The 1st week is the money shot for all non casual games. Giving that away free would be comercial suicide for GDK/CT.
As you say percentages are an elegant compromise (and actually better for comparing months with very different sales paterns!)
