Last numbers we had for consoles in 2015 (in M units, from Le Figaro) was:
PS4 1
XB1 0.298
WIU 0.228
Total: 1.526

But the article did mention the last couple of weeks of December were missing, so I guess the 1.577 figure in the SELL's report takes that into account. Assuming the ratio stayed the same, that would be:

PS4 1.033
XB1 0.308
WIU 0.236

Was suprised myself, but amazon was sending out copies today.

Anyway Digimon seems to be doing rather well.
Was sold out on the first day on Amazon and got another shipment, now they are sold out again until the 15th.

First time an XBO title charted higher on debut in Germany than UK? Bandai Namco seeing a lot of success in Europe nowadays.

Glad to see the Germans and the French picking up the slack when it comes to Japanese games.

UK is just a lost cause in comparison, although Digimon seemed to have done ok which is rather unexpected.

Gravity rush remastered has a uphill battle from the start being released before but hope the sales are good in regards to those facts. Glad digimon has done well, seems there's a chance later sequels won't require as much work as this did to get localised.

Activision’s ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops III’ (-17%) celebrates a 10th No1 crown.

Only ‘Lego Marvel Avengers’ (-35%), which remains at No2 has managed to break its run at the top in 2016. The start of the half term break combined with retail promotions sees a resurgence for many of the Top 10 this week with ‘Fifa 16’ (+26%) climbing back up to No3. ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (+33%) and ‘Stars Wars Battlefront’ (+50%) follow suit moving up to claim No4 and No5. ‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege’ (+16%) also sees a strong boost but still slips a spot down to No6. ‘Just Cause 3’ (-5%) climbs a spot and stays ahead of a resurgent ‘Fallout 4’ (+67%), which leaps 7 places to No8. ‘Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate’ (-2%) and ‘Minecraft: Story Mode’ (-19%) are both non–movers at No9 and No10.

Although they’re unable to threaten the Top 10 a few new releases arrive in the Top 40. The first in the form of ‘Assassin’s Creed Chronicles’ at No19. The physical release sees episodic releases covering China, India and Russia united on one disc. The zombies return once more as Warner Bros. Interactive release ‘Dying Light: The Following’ debuting at No28. The release sees the addition of all season pass content combined with the original release from February last year.

GOTY editions or whatever rarely ever chart. The fact this one did is both alright for it and just the current state of the chart.

I think this is because the PS4 numbers are rounded... The other are pretty precise.

So, maybe PS4 is 1,051,000 in 2015?

Seriously though, anything less than #1 on the value charts will be pretty bad. A lot of the + numbers in the chart this week were due to some deals though so even they might be out of the way for it now.

Already done my bit by buying 2 copies of SF V though.

When did the SFV is going to bomb train start. Every sales thread is taking about it. Have a feeling we are going to hear how it's bombing until Capcom's fiscal report comes out and shows it beat their expectations. Then of course the argument well shift to channel stuffing. Getting SWBF deja vu.

Lol yeah, this week COD is like ~32K, assuming next week should sell again between 30-40K, this could be a really terrible result for SFV...

Hey Bruno, can you post the Street Fighter history of sales?

Or maybe only SF IV first week? :p

I didn't realise that the "Street Fighter V is going to bomb" narrative was a thing. Is there a legit reason for that line of thinking or is it just Gaf being its usual pessimistic self?

Every game is either going to bomb or sell better than GTAV, no in-between.

SF V will be huge success but here it will bomb since it won't sell better than GTA V.

BLACK OPS 3 also bombed here since it didn't sold better than 2 but Playstation leaderboards show over 20m people already played it and it's the best selling next gen game so there u have it.
