Anyone else browse these threads with the same almost zero level of knowledge of the technical jargon and feel amazed at the amount of time, energy and fucks given when learning then arguing about it?
My hats off to you all, seriously. I'll wait until closer to the time and the machines are out, and the performance can be translated into idiot speak for me to understand.
I'll probably end up with both, either at the same time or otherwise. This gen I went PS4, added an Xb1, sold the Xb1, bought a Switch, bought an XB1X, sold the PS4, sold the Switch, bought a gaming laptop...
This tells me two things;
1) i have more disposable than previous generations
2) it's harder to find a solution that matches the ever expanding set of possibilities and requirements consumers have.
I predict the success criteria for this generation, which seem to be around hardware grunt with a smidge of service, will have flipped heavily by the end of it.
