Came about this interview on N4G and thought this would be the best thread to share it. Everyone's favorite Sony man Anton Mikhailov talks about EyeToy and Move a bunch. Some of the information may be new to people.
Found his answers to be pretty insightful and revealing.

Great interview, although as hirokazu pointed out, the YouTube video they linked to in question 2 doesn't appear to have anything to do with Move or EyeToy.
Also, in his answer to question 7, he says, "We began work on Move before the Wii was announced." I'd love to hear an expanded explanation of what this means, if he's referring to technological research or something resembling the final product.
Obviously, the EyeToy (which led to the PlayStation Eye, which is considered part of the Move package) was released on the market in 2003, and I remember some tech demos they did not long afterward (maybe 2004) which used the EyeToy and some physical props. The answer to question 2 touches on this. They've clearly done research in this field for several years.
However, I have a hard time believing that the physical design of the Move motion controller as we know it today wasn't at least a little bit influenced by the design of the Wii Remote. There are differences, of course, but there are also obvious similarities. The only people who would know for sure are those in the R&D group that worked on Move. It would be interesting to get a glimpse of the design process, to see what earlier concepts and prototypes looked like.

What's the deal with Infamous 2 not supporting move? 3rd Person shooters are probably the best fit for pointer controls and they passed?!
I loved Infamous 1 and will get infamous 2 anyway but it would have been so much more fun with pointer controls. They haven't mentioned anything about a post release patch by any chance have they?
It's probably because inFamous isn't strictly a "third person shooter" game. Move might have been neat for certain spots, but I don't know if it would work for every aspect of the game. I'm sure Sucker Punch looked into this, but it's probably best that they don't try to shoehorn Move into
every game just to use it as a bullet-point feature. I'd rather they not support Move at all, than to have a lousy, slapdash implementation and besmirch the Move brand.

i hope that Naughty Dog don't pass on move with UC3, that would be a travesty! They're still on the fence, right?
From what I recall reading in interviews with Naughty Dog, they've considered it, but ultimately decided that it wasn't suitable to be included in Uncharted 3.
