Cold-Steel said:Hey guys (or TTP), got a question for you.
I just bought the bracket that allows me to put the PS Eye on top of my TV and was wondering, should I position the camera so that it faces down towards me?
Let's just put it this way, even if I'm standing with my arm out towards the Eye it is still slightly above me (and centered).
I was just wondering whether it is better to have it level or tilt it at a downward angle towards me because I was playing Dead Space Extraction last night and every time I calibrate while sitting down I find the "center" is far too low for my tastes and I have to recalibrate by literally reaching out with my Move towards the Eye.
shagg_187 said:Put the camera so it sees your entire body/arm. Move your hands up and down and see if it's in the camera's view. Best way to test it out is by going into video chat via XMB. Mine is slightly tilted down but it all depends on preference and height of TV, to be honest. Also, most calibrations tell you to point at the camera; usually that is not the case and pointing at the centre of the television does the trick (don't know how it is in Dead Space Extraction).
Cold-Steel said:Thanks shagg! So when you say move my hands up and down to see if it's in the camera's view, do you mean standing up as well?
Right now I have the camera set up so it is pointing straight out (no tilt) at the top of my tv.
When I'm standing, it's just below shoulder level (slightly). When sitting, it's WAY above me.
While standing to play games like Sports Champions, even if I put both arms completely above me my Move controllers are still within view.
AndyD said:Sounds like my setup. The camera is on top of my TV and about shoulder level when standing.
Works great that way. Beter than below the TV. As long as the Move is visible to the camera it does not really matter where it is and how its tilted.
Thrakier said:Sure? I guess how it's tilted could very well make a difference.

All the info you need is hereEricHasNoPull said:Ok I am sure it's been posted already but I am not going to browse hundred pages..also not sure if there's a thread on this, but I am in dire need of a "Gun" case for my Move.
I really enjoyed the Dead Space Extraction Demo, and I'm definitely buying Killzone 3, so I want to get both of these games but first I want to buy a "gun".
I hear a wicked (rifle/machine gun like) gun is coming out for Killzone 3 I think?? I live in Canada, what's the best thing out there right now, and I don't want to spend more than 30-40 bucks on something like this.
I also don't care for "Brand name". Shall I get something now? or should I wait for something else that's coming out soon?
And which is better? more practical? a handgun style? or two-handed, machine gun style?
I would appreciate if someone can help me with this. Thanks.
Bradach said:It's the only gun shell that uses the special connection at the bottom of move so it can map moves buttons to more convenient buttons on the gun.
shagg_187 said:Yep. Sharpshooter is the only accessory that takes full advantage of Move and it's proprietary USB inputs.
EricHasNoPull said:so what's the damage? I couldn't find a price in that link, I heard it's around 40 US? Hope not much more in Canadian.
Agent X said:With regard to the Move Sharp Shooter:
That is correct, it's supposed to sell for $40 in the US.
By the way, I've been playing the Killzone 3 beta using the Move (along with a Dual Shock 3), and the controls are extremely well done. They're very accurate and responsive.
After trying KZ3 with Move controls, I'm encouraged to invest in a Navigation controller for myself, as it would be easier to wield compared to the DS3. I don't think I'll be able to pony up the cash for a Sharp Shooter right away at release, but seems like it might be worth getting.
Don't know if it applies to every store or just Kmart.
i had similar hopes but Capcom didn't do a good job with move implementation. It's marginally more fun playing with move but not enough to make the game actually good thoughY2Kev said:I bought my move for KZ3. I also got RE5 gold, but I haven't opened it yet. Hope it controls as well as RE4 Wii. I might actually enjoy the game then.

Sounds nice indeed! Even if the gun doesn't have the rumble, the rumble from move itself to be enough to make it rattle.Bradach said:IGN sharpshooter review.
Maybe i'm reading it wrong but they seem to imply there is rumble built in to the sharpshooter itself. very nice addition if true.

KZ3, but that's just from my demo experience. Sports Champions would be second. Table Tennis is awesome.Sadaiyappan said:What is the best game that supports Move right now?

I'm thinking about picking this up too. It's due for release in Europe next week as far as I can tell.Thunderbear said:Now if the Optoma 3D-XL would just be released I would be completely set for the ultimate Killzone 3 experience.
