Ok a small update - I finished Extraction over this weekend.TTP said:I actually LOVE Extraction. Sad you don't like it.
I'm happy to say Roll-decalibration issues disappeared - I've tried with both moves I have and both worked great.
The only notable difference from the last time when I had issues was calibration process - the last time I only turned the Move on after starting the game with DS3, this time I started directly with Move, which leads me to suspect it's a bug somewhere in the game-init code (the game has a fair share of other glitches completely unrelated to controls, so this wouldn't be a surprise).
But yea - I played 9 chapters in a row with no issues or having to recalibrate the controller (including all the violent shaking you do in-game as well as using alternate fire often - as TTP noted, you can get a little bit of drift if you perform multiple rolls in succession, but even that was quite minor now).
Liked the game quite a bit, it's a very nice translation of DS visual style to lower end hw, and it actually proves that Asteroid-shooting minigame can be a lot of fun instead of pure frustration, as long as the controller is right.
At this point I'd be actually willing to pay extra for Move support in DS2, EA should really consider it, they have the damn PC controls already.
