If Sony want to push PS Now, with PS4 games now coming to the service, one way to push that service is to ensure the PS5 doesn't play PS4 games.
You're looking to drop into this. One doesn't prevent the other

Drop into this? I have no idea what that means.
I only asked "I wonder". I hope not. Because I'd rather not buy anymore digital PS4 games if they won't play on PS5.
gbs and gbs of data though??
how does it work? Intriguing.
Then it'll be the first Playstation console that I won't buy. Despite this being my uncapped internet connection.

Nope.I'm jealous. Still, with that kind of speed, PS Now is limited to 720p/30
No price reduction to 9,99 like xbox?
Not gonna pay above Netflix rate sorry.
Nope.
Does this still stream at 720p?
A reaction to Microsoft or always on the cards? (or both?)
Time to roll this into PS+ or perhaps a higher PS++ tier.
It's not limited to 30fps. It runs 60fps games perfectly.Nope what?

With all Xbox One games also coming to PC, plus this new development, there's never been a better time to be a PC gamer.
But is the video also 60fps?
At the technical level, gameplay is transmitted in the form of a 720p h.264 video stream running at 60fps (even if the game itself operates at a lower frame-rate)
Sorry to correct you not all , if you heard Phil recent Vid with ryan mccafrey .There still going to be XboxOne only games and more coming and others will go to PC
Don't get ahead of yourself there

I think 1080p is granted for PS4 titles, and they may also require H265 hardware decoding at some point.

I cannot believe that after 3 years they haven't rolled it out in all of Europe yet.

It will lost likely be high density like a blade center. Rack space is expensive so they will have to put as much computing nodes as possible in a rack.I'm interested in seeing the server hardware. Are they housing custom PS4 server cards? Or are the virtualizing existing AMD based PC server hardware?

So nobody needs to by a Playstation anymore.
