It doesn't have online.
SP is a series of challenge modes. Local Multiplayer has four different gameplay types (Deathmatch, King of the Hill, Dodgeball and Fish in basket). There's about ten very different levels and you can build your own doll from various parts.

But yeah, Ragdoll is a must have.

Flower, Rag doll Kung Fu & CometCrash are my top three PSN titles so far this year.

Well, the challenges keep you entertained for a while, to get trophies and unlockables. But the multiplayer is where the meat is, as usual.

C'mon, a game like this needs online :|

It's a sad omission, agreed. Physics being too complex is a bad excuse (when LBP is possibly more physics heavy and with same amount of players).

But it would be more sad if people missed out on this, it's still really great.

Wollan said:
Easily Ragdoll.
Not only is it cheaper, it's a much better game.

My comparison basis (been playing for a few hours now):
I've played every multiplayer mode on every level in Ragdoll.
We're on level 12 in Flock now.

okay thanx. may even buy both. flock looks like a fun game to do with my GF.

I'll speak up and say that I thought crash commando was a GREAT game. There are still a few people playing it online. It is a fast paced frag fest, and I really liked how it was balanced. Good control scheme (jetpacks rule), good amps and good weapons. If you can get it cheap it fun. There is a short but fun SP mode as well.

Gotta agree on that, wasn't going to buy it because of the lack of the online mode but im a sucker for psn games lol

Glad I did it lol :lol

I have a question thats slightly off-topic. If I am replacing my PS3 HD will I lose the games I have acquired through trades? And how can I transfer my PSN games and saves?

arghh. it looks really good but i never play local multiplayer so i guess its not worth it.

just realised i have $43 sitting in my US account so maybe will get comet crash instead. is it the best of the tower defence games or is savage moon better? (i despise pj monster's art so i refuse to buy it)

Much better than Savage Moon.
Savage Moon will last you longer because it's too hard to finish but yeah, no contest.
SM has a story, it is seemingly a bigger package but CC is clearly the better game. While playing it's flawless.

hm...these discounts are what I was needing to try some of these games...I can see this becoming an expensive week. So far, picked up Elefunk and Piyotama, will do some reading on some of the other titles now.

It's still a fine update. There's two higher quality games (well, one at least in Rag Doll) released there.
EU had an extraordinary update but the US one is still good.

I hope Q4B has done well enough to get Insomniac to do another episode sometime in 2010. Seems like I've seen it on the top downloads lists a lot.

EDIT: Oh yeah, it was on sale for a while...

It's mid april and still no psone games.....

Anyways, the new trailers for DCUO look nice, we've seen a lot of media for that game lately, I wonder if it's coming out this year.

No sale?! Total bummer. I was going to buy HV Bowling, Elefunk, Crash Commando, Pain, Quest for Booty because I procrastinated and didn't buy a couple weeks back, Everyday Shooter, and Astro Tripper while I was at it. Now, I'm just going to pick up Astro Tripper and that Shins song for Rock Band. I'm super bummed that we didn't get a sale.

This is essentially what we have to look forward to in the all downloadable future. One sale a year if we're lucky, with at most 50% off. I don't like that future at all.

PSN has been one huge let down post-Flower. SCEA is really bumming me out lately. Give us some damned PS1 games. Silent Hill would really be great right about now.

Wipeout HD $23.95

Still too expensive.

I got the UK version of Siren basically for free. Some UK site, I think it was DVD.co.uk, or something like that had Siren for $25 including shipping to the US last November. So I picked up 2 copies and sold one on eBay for $50. :D Free copy of Siren for me! I still haven't played it yet though. I have to get through GTALD, Fable II, and a few other things first.

Well the only one slacking on PSP/PS1 games on PSN is SCEA. Either way I doubt they are going all digital download, what we're hoping for is day and date PSP new releases and more PSP and PS1 catalog titles up on PSN.
