That Sonic Night of the Werehog short video on the JPN PSN was mildly amusing.

People that want Dark Mist, you should try to get it off the HK store so you'll get the game and the patch. 1 year later and the EU store still hasn't received it.

What's that patch about? Bugs and stuff only or more?

They generally do email the codes to you if you buy from ebay.

NCSX, besides sucking, rarely has Hong Kong codes in stock.

Play-asia is better but they send the codes via the mail.

Kung Fu Ragdoll has the best plastic skin shader ever.
Even beats Unreal Engine 3.

The style and presentation in Kung Fu is impeccable. Also the XMB background is an actual plastic case for (rag)dolls.

Have a fun! Enjoy!

Alright, played Rag Doll Kung Fu for a short while, it seems like a good game thus far. But the challenges, at least in this early stage, seem ridiculously hard.

It's a giant "patch" that is actually the multiplayer expansion.

The patch is useless unless you buy the expansion pack off the HK store as well. (i bought both)

It allows for a multiplayer mode (vs arena type thing) and 2 or 3 other characters to play as.
I think an extra mode as well. It's been a while.

Multiplayer online or offline? And hell, that's one of those patches lol

How much for the game + expansion? I get that EU and USA won't been seeing it soon right? |:

Flock doesn't tear anymore (like the December Qore demo).

Capcom deserves kudos for the audiovisual presentation of that game. Sound side is very funny.

Gameplay remains the same.. it's flocking.

It's online!

But now, no one is playing, we'd have to set up a game to try it sometime.

Not exactly sure how much the game plus expansion is, I'm at work.
And yeah, lose all hope that it'll come to the US. Been more than a year... almost 2?

To get Gold (or Plastic), yes. Silver is fairly easy once you get used to the controls.

Isn't Rag Doll Kung Fu from Media Molecule? Does it use the LBP engine?

Doesn't seem like it, but the RDKF engine looks amazing, probably the best-looking downloadable game thus far, imo.

The original Rag Doll Kung Fu for PC was developed by Mark Healey (one of the MM co-founders) during his spare time while at Lionhead. This one was done by Tarsier Studios.

No idea about the engine used, but it looks and moves great. Look at the Preview video on the PlayStation Store and imagine that running at 60fps.

Video is here as well: http://www.tarsier.se/index2.php

Ahh okay. I might look into it. Is there going to be a demo?

'Earn silver on all challenges'
'While grabbing a ledge, do a fly kick against an enemy and immediately land another ledge grab'
'Shoot a Chi-energy-ball on an airborne fish'
'Play all multiplayer modes'
'Do all sixaxis moves in one match'
...etc.

I have earned the last two mentioned.

Still not finished Siren, got pretty far tho I think. Have no idea whats going on, but it's a good game. Very scary, tho a little annoying at times :p Should definitely buy it tho.

Quest for Booty as well. They took out most of the shooting stuff to focus on platforming but the platforming aspect was pretty damn shallow. But the presentation is amazing. Had me a laughing a few times. I think it's worth buying.

Elefunk is awesome.

Everyday Shooter should be purchased as well.

Crash Commando is great fun online. I loved it.
I wonder if there are still people playing.
There were a few weeks ago.

Lord Error

Insane For Sony
It's pretty crazy that RDKF runs at 60FPS. I had no idea. I think I read somewhere that it does use LBP engine, or some derivative of it.

Is RDKF like Smash Bros.? I hate Smash Bros.
The arena aspect is the same. You jump between different ledges..etc. Fighting is kinda the same. But you do it by manipulating a ragdoll. You can pick up weapons and you can do special chi-attacks. The game is very physics based. Presentation wise it's infinitely more advanced and stylized. It has the shading techniques of a proper high budget title, it has very good image quality and it's at a super smooth 60fps.

I _might_ be more excited about PSN updates if I had a PS3.
A lack of PSP downloadable games at decent prices/PS1 games is to blame.

kung fu ragdolls or flock?
Easily Ragdoll.
Not only is it cheaper, it's a much better game.

My comparison basis (been playing for a few hours now):
I've played every multiplayer mode on every level in Ragdoll.
We're on level 12 in Flock now.
