So what's that ghost in Lumiose all about?
I would like to know as well.
So what's that ghost in Lumiose all about?
For those who have finished the story, or are at least past the Lumiose gym: does this game ever hit a difficulty ramp? I'm steamrolling using a Chespin almost exclusively.
That's always the case. They release a second guide later on with the dex and post game content at a later date.
Anyone? ;_;Okay, how many times do you have to use O-Powers before they level up?
I've used Prize Money a billion times it seems like, both on myself and others, and it's still level 1. What gives?
I couldn't tell ya to be sure, though I never really keep track - I just use up my power every time it recharges on random passerby until it levels.Anyone? ;_;
Does that mean you can game it by shaking your 3DS? I just want to power through them if possible, I'll give it a shot when I get home from work.I couldn't tell ya to be sure, though I never really keep track - I just use up my power every time it recharges on random passerby until it levels.
I think the meter recharges faster the more steps you take that day (on the 3DS).
Although usually, the first guide still has a small Pokédex at the back. Completely removing that is messed up. There's not even a list of all the Kalos Pokémon. (From what I've heard at least. I canceled my preorder when the reviews started coming in)That's always the case. They release a second guide later on with the dex and post game content at a later date.
They finally give Mawile a chance in the spotlight and you cancel your pre-order?!Although usually, the first guide still has a small Pokédex at the back. Completely removing that is messed up. Not going to happen. People can dump the ROM now but data mining is not possible, and probably won't be for some time.Ah okay. Would it be impossible for someone to find it in the games database somehow?
Lol, yeah. There's no way I'd cancel my preorder of the actual games! =PThey finally give Mawile a chance in the spotlight and you cancel your pre-order?!
Edit: Of the guide, I see. Reading comprehension is hard.
I know I have to encounter Moltres about ~ten times before I can catch him at Sea Spirit's Den.
My question is, does it matter WHERE I encounter him? Is it really random or do I have to visit different areas/routes to trigger his encounter? Because I'm currently completing my Central Kalos Pokedex and have been in encounters with random Pokemon in the same area for +30 times now and Moltres never appeared again. I've encountered him three times total so far and I'm pretty sure it was always a different area. If it's really completely random, it will easily be +40-50 hours before I'll have the chance to catch him at this pace.
You should get the PokeRadar and then use it to track the bird's position. PokeRadar can be obtained from the PokeLab in Lumiose.
You could probably do that, lol. From this answer on StackExchange, the charge rate per bubble is:Does that mean you can game it by shaking your 3DS? I just want to power through them if possible, I'll give it a shot when I get home from work.
I figured it out: You have to open his PokeDex entry. The world map will open and show his current "habitat".. This way you can chase him around. I feel dumb now.
My biggest issue in the plot is that they have you fight Lysandre too many times in quick succession. I mean, at they very least you never should have had to fight him at the entrance to the base. I just feel like it really, really cut him down as a villain.
Oh my god. Chasing the legendary bird is the worst. He changes position randomly. Every time you use the Fly ability, he also changes his position. You have to use repels, head straight for his current position and hope he's still there. Most of the time he has just changed his position again. Prepare to do this ten times. Fun!

If it's like in the older games all you have to do is going back and forth between two zones until it appears in one of these.Oh my god. Chasing the legendary bird is the worst. Have you guys talked about Defog yet?
In Gen 6, Defog removes entry hazards on both sides of the field. It can't be blocked either.
What this means: Pokemon who are weak to Stealth Rock have a much better chance at succeeding now.
I know gamefreak doesn't give a rats ass about 6v6 singles, but I can't help but be happy at this awesome change. I'm seriously grinning like an idiot right now.
go go charizard, volcarona, insert stealth rock weak pokemon HERE.
Not yet but I think this is a pretty big change to the metagame.
Here is the learnlist for it as of Gen 5. Some pretty interesting Pokémon learn it. I'd say Skarmory and maybe Togekiss being the big users of Defog as they're both pretty bulky.
Re: Legendary Birds
Transfers are up in a couple weeks. My advice would be to ignore them and just transfer your multitude of old ones/wait for someone to trade you.
So, how do I get past that fucking punk in the hotel ruins? They just tellin me I ain't cool enough or something to proceed in the dungeon.
huh, isn't PKMN bank pretty much coming in the very last week of the year? lol
You need to learn all four of the skating tricks. One of which I believe is taught by an NPC in the Lost Motel.
Well, fuck me. I thought it was going to be a month after launch.huh, isn't PKMN bank pretty much coming in the very last week of the year? lol
Does anyone know if the Ability Capsule allows you to get hidden abilities?

It's been tested to death, and confirmed that you cannot.
I just finished a play through of X today.so now that bith editions are out, are there any difference? thanks

Going back over the list, I could have swore that Sigilyph learned it via breeding.Have you guys talked about Defog yet?

I still can't believe they've done this -_-Only reason I went through it was to get mega stones I didn't already own, so it was worth it I guess.
I thought it was too, but nope. Exactly the same.I thought the story was slightly different between versions?
Well, I do have to hand it to Game Freak - they finally made truly version exclusive Pokémon. Only tradable at the expense of you losing that mega stone forever unless you play both and find both stones.I still can't believe they've done this -_-

Literally no differences at all other than the legendary you catch and the exclusive version Pokémon and mega stones. Only reason I went through it was to get mega stones I didn't already own, so it was worth it I guess.
