I doubt it. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will likely be the game announced there. Konami has to save something for their own conference.

Or Konami's?

R is clearly for Rising and P for Peace Maker, so I'm still hoping they'll announce MGS5 as there was a "5".
Currently, the teaser site has S (or possibly 5), 3, e, P, E and R. Based on images in the magazine, a future update will see the following added: the letter O or the numeral 0, C, and 6.
Kojima toyed with Hamamura as Hamamura attempted to make some sense out of the numbers. Hamamura pointed to an image from the site and said that it was a "5." To which Kojima responded, "Eh? That looks like a 5?" This could suggest that it's actually an S.

To sum it, the KojiPro projects are:
1. Metal Gear Solid: Rising (PS3, Xbox 360, PC)
2. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (PSP)
3. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (PS3, Xbox 360)

My predictions are correct.
Rising for PC!
Jinfash said:Ok, here's my final guess based on a wild hunch:
5RPSCe360
There's going to be 3 games:
Rising (5RPSCe360): Which will see a release on the 360 (5RPSCe360), PS3 (5RPSCe360), and PC (5RPSCe360).
Peace Walker (5RPSCe360): Going to be released on the PSP (5RPSCe360... P used again of course)
MGS5 (5RPSCe360): Since it wasn't announced today, I'm gonna assume that it's PS3 exclusive (5RPSCe360)
There, I solved it. Don't ask why and how, I'm just that good. I want my cookie now.

No, I called you an idiot because you said having more than one producer on a game was 'retarded', and MGS4 had THREE.Ether_Snake said:Told you guys they were probably working on at least two or three games considering the number of producers they currently have on staff (and that was before the Famitsu interview, yet some crow-eater was telling me I was an idiot for saying so).

I'll still play this game but it breaks my heart that they are putting a main story game (let alone a sequel to my favourite game, MGS3) on less powerful hardware. I'll still play it and probably love it, but it would be nice to see a current gen console game which delivered both story wise and gameplay wise.WinFonda said:I really wanted Big Boss on next-gen. Deserves it more than Raiden I think... Oh well. A Raiden game could be cool if it deviates from the norm. I don't really want MGS2 part deux.

Sony and Konami said so, and Microsoft didn't say it was exclusive. In fact, IGN is the only 'source' of the exclusivity rumor.Calcaneus said:Wait, so Rising is multiplatform? How do we know this?

Ballistics said:I'm going mad! I have a theory about who the ninja is and the more I think about it, the more I check the information, the more I believe it. Wishful thinking maybe, but it's still driving me mad :lol My theory:-
Out of these 5 games, MGS1, MGS2, MGS3, MGS4 and MGS Rising, think about the leading playable character:-
In MGS1 (Solid Snake), MGS2 (Raiden), MGS3 (Naked Snake), MGS4 (Solid Snake) and MGS Rising (Raiden)
MGS3 was the prequel to MGS1 and gave you the origins of Solid Snake. More importantly, in MGS3 he was given the code name Snake. The games are separated by one game, in which Snake plays a bit part.
Now take away the games that do not have Raiden, now you are left with MGS2, MGS4 and MGS Rising, have you worked it out yet?
MGS Rising is the prequel to MGS2 and gives you the origins of Raiden. More importantly, in MGS Rising he was given the code name Raiden. The games are separated by one game, in which Raiden plays a bit part. (And by bit part I mean a non -or mostly- playable character).
If that theory is correct...it's not Raiden...it's Raiden's FATHER!!! But who? Raiden became a child soldier in the 80s, after Solidus killed his parents and so (like Snake before him) "Has no family". So who? There is only one person I can think of and the dates match too.
http://metalgear.wikia.com/wiki/Kyle_Schneider
Kyle Schneider. He is from the first game Metal Gear. He is the first Ninja (in Metal Gear 2)...even before Gray Fox. There is only one picture (the one in the link, which is official artwork) and he looks very like Raiden...his hair even looks white/grey. Even though he was a ninja, he only used a gun...Raiden (in MGS4) had a gun but never used it, perhaps Raiden found out and keeps a gun by his side in memory of his father. Kyle Schneider's wife and child were killed, but nobody really knows how or why...this is why he joined Big Boss. What if Solidus thought he had killed Kyle Schneider when he killed Raiden's parents...and Kyle thought his son had been killed. Raiden seemed happy with being a father at the end of MGS2, but seemed hesitant when meeting his son, like he was afraid of repeating the past. Also is that why Roy Campbell wanted to protect Rose and John, so the past could not be repeated.
The only other thing I can think of is that it is indeed Sunny, going by the name of Raiden or it's Schneider's wife, which still works. That's good, but my one's better
That's what I've posted on another forum. Then MGS Peace Walker was announced, set in 1974 and about Big Boss building Outer Heaven, which Kyle helped him do...so my theory seemed to be wrong...but then I noticed that MGSW is set in Costa Rica not South Africa (meaning he moves and builds another Outer Heaven). And now this word RESISTANCE is in the background behind the ninja...Kyle Schneider was a resistance member in Metal Gear.
Other stuff:-
Schneider means "to cut" in German, when fighting Snake he uses throwing stars or knives...Lightning Bolt Action? Which kills the gun theory, but opens up another.
A man who was involved with NASA (like The Fury) betrayed by his country, coming down from the sky (like lightning) seeking revenge. Very Kojima like.
Why would Kojima make a happy ending and then take it away? Why would he get something so simple as eye colour wrong? If this game is set after MGS2, why does Raiden have a completely different suit?
Convinced or convinced myself?

Wasn't he given that in MGS2, when it gets changed from 'Snake'?

You're trying too hard. Even if it was true, your evidence barely supports it. Convinced yourself is my call.

Kojima said this is an experiment to build a multiplatform engine, so I wouldn't mind it if they are able to release this early fall 2010 and then do a real MGS5 or a new MG series.jett said:LOL if that is Crying Wolf.
