Damn it, I'll be on vacation the entire time. It seems this is really early compared its usual July dates.
Yes, absolutely. The story connections between all the Divinity games are tenuous at best. The Divinity OS devs you mean? For that matter can I go into Divinity OS without having played the past Divinity games?
Oh man I still have like 30 games I never played from last year lol
Probably won't be buying a lot this year, there are only a couple games that have come out in the past year that I'd be willing to specifically add to my backlog.
Besides that, those Steam Sales are frequently not all they're cracked up to be.

Buy it now
Time to fast. I must cleanse my body.
Agreed, there are just too many competing sales now and the discounts/bundles are frequently much better than (if not equivalent to) what Steam puts up during the sale. The only reason I really watch it now is to take advantage of any pricing errors.
There's too much garbage on Steam now and there are too few good games coming out each year (so I've already bought them long before they went on sale) so it's been years since I've bought anything on a Steam sale.
If it was always a $1=1 conversion then there would not be so much variance as evidenced via Steamprices. That is to say publishers may be able to set the exchange rates. But maybe older games are grandfathered into a $1=1 conversion.I rarely buy games on Steam because of the Euro prices. Other sites always beat them. Like right now GMG has Arkham City $4.99 - Steam is not going to be that cheap ever because of the $1=1 conversion which would make it 4.99.

If Dark Souls 2 goes on Sale - I'm buying!
I have NEVER played a Souls game, so this could finally be my entry to the series.
And it'll be with the preferred, PC version.
