Wasn't the background image issue there with previous firmware? I remember there being a slight delay in switching, which is why I just use a plain black background.

As a black background guy, I really like the crystal theme. The header at the top of the screen no longer has a gradient so it all just blends together.

I remember it's not as noticeable as the current state. Especially when you try to scroll for more than 2 pages at once, the blank screen will stay there for a while.

In JPN PS Store, there is a Vita Theme section. (And Game Archives [aka PS1] section still exists.)

I honestly don't know why they're so afraid to change stuff in the other stores. JPN has done multiple times. And sometimes, for the worse.

Also themes are great but paying for this when we had full customized PSP/PS3 themes for free is disappointing. 2$ is not a lot but for this?!? I'll pass.

Edit : I know we can choose images we want as background or unlock screen on PS Vita (which is already very nice) but we can't modify icons look.

Yeah the loading into each background while you swipe is really jarring imo, surely they could implement some better transition effects? Android launchers has been doing it for years now on pretty old hardware.

I agree they need their own section which should be linked from where you change your theme. Howver, I found them without searching in the new items list on the vita store (US)

They're not region locked, but we won't be able to buy them. Another Episode has not even been announced for localization.

Like with (almost all) PS digital stuff, there is software region lock going on via account selection, that allows sony to claim that they are region free while being almost as bad.

The Crystal theme's music is gorgeous. I love it. Crystalline sounding music just sounds great to me. WoW's Lich King expansion was heaven to me.

Looking forward to seeing what else they do with themes.

Love the Crystal Theme music. Four Seasons is really nice too. I hope we get the DanganRonpa theme in the US soon.

I wish you could pick and choose the different elements from each theme to use. (Crystal music & Four Seasons icons for example.)
