Yeah, I've been calling it that Watch Dogs is going to be mediocre for a while. If you watch all the footage released and just look specifically for interesting gameplay and nothing else, you just won't find it. They show lots of this though:

* walking slowly
* selecting things from a radial menu
* TPS with cover
* driving

That's really about it. You can "hack" things by pressing the A button near things to interact with it, but it's really the same as interacting with anything normally. "Hack" an elevator by pressing A, or just ... use the elevator by pressing A.

I think you can use some cameras to spy on people too, so yeah ... that's the most original thing I've seen from the game so far. It doesn't look like a strong IP. I'll eat crow if I'm wrong. I'm sure it'll sell decently since its one of the few available launch games.

That was my intial thought. Them Sohh/Coli heads worship the ground GTA walks on so ill take that impression with a pinch of salt.

Likewise, Unless its a select few heads there (shout out to Kali and Golden Glove) I don't respect their opinion on anything action/fighting related. Ill have to play Strider myself, but im not seeing these "MVC3 combos" at all.
