PS4 Pro Boost Test Video Compilation Thread

Someone on the other thread thought this would be a good idea to make a thread that has a list of games with their improvements instead of reading thousands of posts so in here I'm going to try my best to organize a list daily. I'll put multiple videos of if you have them to share since performance can be different in other areas of the same game.

Games that already have a pro patch get no bonuses for boost mode so head to the link below to check it out.

Thank you Liabe Brave for you compiling most of the list for me, I only added the ones with videos so if you want some additional information on some other games tested go to the original post here. http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?p=229715679#post229715679

I know plenty is missing but if you have something to be added here post it and I'll put it here. I'll try my best to update this daily and if you have suggestions to make it better please let me know.

It should be noted, for people using their PS4's Share button to capture footage, that the only way to get a 60fps capture is to stream to YouTube and choose the 1080p/60fps option.

Using the internal PS4 video recording caps the footage at 30fps.

Is there a list of how the boost has helped each game? Watching videos without having the pre-Beast Mode version running along side of it, doesn't help much. Especially for those of us who have yet to play some of these titles.

Any comparisons or footage for Witcher 3? I heard that the menus/inventory system perform better - but what about gameplay?

why isn't this marketed?

The theory is that Sony couldn't feasibly QA a bunch of older games with this feature, and if beta testers revealed there to be a lot of problems with it, they could just quietly not include the feature in the official firmware release rather than hype up others.

I'd be interested to see a video of inside the first factory you go into in Fallout 4. I remember hitting upper teens fairly consistently in there...

The perfect test for Dragon Age Inquisition is when you agree to help the Inquisition and it cuts to a cutscene. Shit runs super bad on PeasantStation4

From the original Boost Mode thread:

Howdy, thought everyone might like a summary for this long thread. Here's all the impressions posted here, along with some video links. As with all individual impressions, keep in mind that people have differing views of what constitutes a framerate improvement, and sometimes are wrong that there is one at all. (This is especially true since a very large portion of the below impressions come from one user.)

This is the feature that made me go and trade in my normal PS4 for a Pro today*. Hopefully Sony continues to improve this feature across the board :)

*Truth be told, I was also going to get a 1TB HDD as well, so factoring in the cost of a new HDD, upgrading to the Pro wasn't that far off.

So no evidence of resolution or IQ bumps at all, which makes sense really. Just more raw horsepower to push faster loads and better frame rate.

I like it!

Thanks to everyone's hard work to pull all this info together.

Also, fascinating to see recent post-Pro games like Yakuza 0 get performance improvements out of this mode. Wouldn't you think their mandatory Pro modes would already cap out the system's capabilities?
