PS4 Sharefactory Thread.

While I'm "technically" a professional video editor, using high end suites for cutting and effects work... I had some fun toying with ShareFactory as well. Also got annoyed at some of the weird timing changes when you trim a clip you meticulously aligned, which then alters the actual beats-to-visuals decisions. Still, I'm happy with the following little clip, though the lower bitrate and 720p res don't do Driveclub justice, at all.

It's awesome they even have something like SF available, especially as they keep adding little updates such as transitions.

I'm noticing that my clips are being shortened after I choose them to be included in my sharefactory project. Anybody know why this is? And also, is there any way to stop the transitions from being auto included?

Hey guys, I tried to search on Google but didn't fin any information, hope you can help.

I have a project with intro, "main" clip and ending. I'm trying to add two (FX modified sticker and text) to all clips, a brand of mine for the whole video basically. There's a way to copy and paste modified FX? Or select all the clips so I don't need to change size for each of them?

Thank you

60fps remote play disables game recording feature. But will we ever see 60fps video captures when remote play is not in use?

I'm asking because ShareFactory seems to be 60fps ready. Some of the effect previews run at 60fps!

Is it possible to import videos via USB and edit them with Sharefactory? I know that they have added the possibility to import MP3s...

I didn't realize this thread existed, so here is probably a stupid question. If I want to upload a video completely unchanged to youtube, do I first have to run it through share factory? I've noticed when using SF, with no changes, the file size seems to be bigger for some reason, why would that be?

I just want sure I'm uploading the highest quality video and am not sure if that is the raw file or I have to use SF. In the past on PC videos I've always assumed the raw file.

No. You can just go to your stored video files, press the share button and upload the video without using ShareFactory at all (btw: there is a basic trim function included when you press the option button on your video file). Not sure about quality changes when using SF, but it probably won´t get better as the file in the folder is your raw file.

Feel free to use this thread for sharing your gameplay (not limited to SF videos): http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1043932

I've played around with it a little bit and this is the result:

Bloodborne

Oh god, reading the german names i'm so glad i have my PS4 and PS3 set on english the whole time. "Beute erlegt" :X

I always forget that PS4 takes vids while playing. Had some situations in Bloodborne defiled chalice where i thought this would be worthy to see again.

I obviously can´t force any one to post in the new thread, but I would really suggest to use one single thread on GAF to share your gameplay impressions and videos. As you can see, the activity (and feedback for posted videos) in this thread is really marginal (and limited to ShareFactory videos).

With one central gameplay thread there is the chance to breath some life into that topic and get more discussions and feedback:

This was a really quick test, but hoping to put something together halfway awesome soon.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain... This showcases a few of the buddies, and some nice scenery. No spoilers that I know of in this, and the one scene here that can even be considered close to a spoiler is openly available to all on the medical platform, nothing special.

Quick run of mine from early this morning. Since this was my first time on this particular track with the bike, the first lap was a little rough, but the second lap was significantly better. My next replay video should be much better as well, as I let the computer run with the camera angles. I'll be sure to modify next time, because I know there was way too much time spent on the front rider view, as well as the back view.

And I'm not sure why, but I just love this little excerpt. Almost better than watching the full video. ;)
