How so?I know the firmware updates will download only. They wont install unless you install them yourself. I believe its becuase you have to agree to the agreement.

I can't get them to download. I've enabled them and always put the system in standby - nothing. My PS3 downloads updates just fine on the other hand.

Not every single PS4 user downloaded/played Destiny; but every single PS4 user will download the firmware. I don't think it will break the PSN, but the download will be awfully slow surely :/

Wow, I wasn't really familiar with Shareplay since it's something I wouldn't be using, but I read a bit about it now that it's actually here and it sounds ridiculously awesome. Providing that there's not much lag of course.

More than likely. It's just as if a friend was sitting on the couch next to you and you passed them the controller, hence the wording they've used. It's all under your account, you just pass them a virtual controller over the internet.

A big chunk played Destiny and even downloaded the game, which is surely alot bigger than any FW update

No, but recent games list is limited to 15 and all else can be found in Library, which is much better suited to large game collections (but still of course lacks any form of manual sorting).

Well you gotta draw the line somewhere. Sony, devs and other publishers aren't in the business of letting people play for free. Unless it's "F2P".

Why do you care what other people do?

I had to give up on Dark Souls because I couldn't get past a certain part - it would have been cool to invite someone to jump in and help me there.

Though to be honest I suspect the latency that comes with share play won't work well with the precise timing required by the FROM software games.

As I understand it simply acts as a second controller on the console - so any game with local MP should work with it.

There has to be a limit i think its more then fair. They didn't cap the amount of hours somebody can play a month or cap the hours they can play a certain game.

Without this restriction i doubt publishers would give the okay for their games to have shareplay.
