I got both of them but I've only played Darkside Chronicles so far. It works great without the Move controller since the cursor moves fast and it has subtle aim assist.

However, it doesn't have a tutorial, so here are the controls:

Aim &#8212; left or right analog stick
Shoot &#8212; R1
Reload &#8212; Square
Pick up items &#8212; X
Use herb &#8212; L1
Use knife &#8212; R2 + sticks
Change weapons &#8212; D-Pad
Shake off enemies &#8212; twirl sticks or shake controller

You can also access your inventory to see herbs remaining and equip different weapons by pausing the game.

Highly recommended. Just beat Rev1 on PS3 (previously beat it twice on 3DS) and it's a great game.

Remember that you can quickly stun enemies by shooting both of their arms. Then you can move in and charge up a melee attack.

Be forewarned that Darkside Chronicles employs the "shaky cam" effect. I like it, but some find it nauseating. I don't notice it after a while. It only gets intense during scenes where Leon and company push through crowds of enemies. You're not really expected to shoot anyone during those scenes (although you can shoot if you want).
