Quadrilateral Cowboy |OT| Twentieth-century cyberpunk

God, this game is awesome. On the penultimate mission.

I thought this game would be too gamey compared to Brendon's previous work but the narrative touches that come about are pretty cool if understated. Like these characters having lives outside the heists, they have what seem like relationships or one night stands. I'm not exactly emotionally invested in these characters as much, but getting to explore stuff like their love of badminton (one of my favourite sports!) or sisterhood when they have to defend themselves. And the quirky observations are hilarious throughout.

When it comes to gameplay, each mission seems to introduce new ideas and then they all combine in complex yet satisfying manner when you nail it.

Yes! The
narrative midpoint moment is my favorite thing, probably because of how much of an exception to the rest of the game it is.
It's the exact glimpse into
their real heist lives
that you need.

Edited to hide very vague spoilers.
