Been subscribed to this thread since it went up, finally had a chance to try a bar (cookie dough) thanks to a generous coworker. It was great; I want to buy some to stash at work for the occasional breakfast. Is the best way to do so through their website? I'm in the US if it matters!

Is the best way to do so through their website?

Yes.

Promo code OnAQuest gets you free shipping. Ships from CA so depending on where you are it's really quick, and they ship right away.

I have also found by purchasing my fair share of bars via other retailers (GNC, Amazon, etc), the freshest, nicest bars are obtained by ordering direct. I think the side effect of shipping, storing, moving between different distribution centers, on trucks across the nation, etc, the bars can heat up or get misshapen, and get a little extra chewy sometimes (you will see reviews that say they are too chewy). You will see it if you go look at the bars at a GNC outlet. Of course doesn't affect the taste, but I thought I would chime in. And sometimes Quest throws in a free bar every now and then almost at random. And no I don't work for them LOL.

Well, I bought a package of the PB Supreme bars, seeing if they are better tasting and better for me than the Atkins Chocolate PB Bar meal bars.

I buy mine through Amazon. The price fluctuates and depends on the flavor, but I get mine for about $25 for a box of 12 and shipped free via Prime.

Thank you! I actually just spoke with a rep over there and they mentioned I could get two free samples (exuding Cookies & Cream, boo!). Since I already tried cookie dough and every flavor sounds good to me... any recommendations on the freebies?

Apple Pie and Cinnamon Roll are my favorites.

Whichever ones you pick, I'd avoid the fruity/citrusy ones. They taste very artificial in my experience.

Double Chocolate Chunk is the chocolatiest out of all of them and is pretty amazing. White Chocolate Raspberry is also another of my favorites.

Thanks dudes! I recently (within the past couple years) lost a substantial amount of weight by changing my eating habits coupled with constant, daily exercise. Since hitting my goal (and maybe going a bit overboard!) I've been struggling with "re-learning" how to eat. Which sounds insane, but I don't know how else to describe it! I'm hoping these bars are a good step on that path.

I agree about getting direct from the website, used to get them through amazon but they are so much fresher through their site, it's a little more expensive though

Oh god, I ordered two boxes (I tried them about a year ago) and they were never delivered. UPS claimed they did, but either someone stole them or they never delivered. Had to put in a claim, then communicate with Amazon. They sent me two replacement boxes hassle free. So I just got some in.

When I first tried them, I didn't care for their hard chewiness to be honest. But this time I took the advice of quickly microwaving them. Wow. Wow, night and goddamn day. DELICIOUS, SOFT, DELICIOUSNESS.

I just started trying these out recently. So far, Cookie Dough and Double Chocolate Chunk are my favorites. Wasn't a fan of Cookies and Cream. Got a couple fruity ones to try on deck though.

Double chocolate chunk is amazing. Has big chunks of chocolate in it.

Trying the peanut butter one today. My local grocery store finally is selling these.

Just got a few singles.

Started out with the Cookies and Cream. It's okay. It feels kind of muted. The flavor isn't bad, but there just isn't much to it. That said, holy cow are these things filling. Was getting a bit hungry around 3:00 PM, so I ate one. It's 5:20 PM and I don't feel hungry in the slightest.

The low carb thing was a huge selling point for me.

That's like their top 3 flavors. You may not enjoy the rest of their 15? offerings :P

I've worked through every flavor writing myself little mini-reviews for future orders, and there honestly isn't one I wouldn't eat again in the bunch. Only Strawberry Cheesecake left to try tomorrow though I didn't order Banana Nut Muffin as I'm not a banana guy.

wow! lol

I've read a lot of GAF members raving about these things for a while, always wanted to try them. They just started selling them at my local super market...holy shit, they're amazing. The cookies and cream is great. I also tried the chocolate peanut butter, was good too.

I don't think I have the self control to eat them regularly without over doing it, but the next time I'm really craving a snickers or Reese's I know I'll grab a quest bar instead

It is a battle in itself to not eat through an entire box in 3 days. I have had two boxes so far and they've actually lasted me for at least a month per box. No idea how I manage to divide them up for so long.

I either got a really good batch of cookie dough or they slightly tweaked the formula when they moved onto the smaller style box.

It just taste, smoother. Can't explain it.

Just got my cookies n cream and cookie dough bars. cnc is amazing. Didn't expect the flavor would be so good.
It is stupid good.

Just got my order in for one box each of PB Supreme, Cookie Dough, and Cookies and Cream. Perfect trio to prevent burn out.

Got these in at work. Holy shit at the Oreo cookie flavor. Better than sex.

they're not good for you, but lesser than the other evil bars out there.

What is in them that's bad for you? They look pretty clean to me.

I've tried four different flavors of these now (cinnamon bun, PB&J, apple pie and strawberry cheesecake) and I just don't get it. Maybe the non-chocolate flavors just suck (I don't eat chocolate), but none of them have tasted very good (with PB&J being the best of the bunch, comparatively) and the texture is horrible. Microwaving them helps, but that kind of defeats the purpose of it being a protein bar.

I still plan on trying coconut cashew, vanilla almond and PB supreme at some point because I am addicted to food in bar form — hopefully they're better.

My favorite non-chocolate flavors are Banana Nut and Cinnamon Roll. PB Supreme and Apple Pie are OK too I guess.

Why do you say microwaving them defeats the purpose? It's not like it reduces the nutritional value or anything to nuke them for 8-10 seconds.

edit: oh you should get White Chocolate Raspberry, that's actually my favorite overall and it should be OK for you since white chocolate isn't actually chocolate

Protein bars and the like are meant to be convenient and eaten on the go for a lot of people; I don't always have a microwave handy! Plus, it can make the bars so soft that you practically need a fork to eat them. Not really an option.

I tried a vanilla almond flavored one of these the other day and didn't think it was that great. Are there better flavors that I can try?

Saw the bump and was hoping someone found a good sale.

So much disappointment.

I don't want to be banned!! It's only a month-old bump

Need to just create a whole new thread titled Re: and then discuss the topic on hand. New threads > bumps
