All the games I was interested in were multiplat. Not excited.

I feel like a moron I was telling all my lesser informed friends they should expect a $449 at max.

Really exciting.

Had lots of awesome exclusives, and there was barely any downtime. They kept a major focus on the games, as promised. So glad that happened.

Plus, the 360 redesign being available TODAY was crazy.

9.5/10

No Mirror's Edge, no Crackdown.

Titanfall was the only game I thought looked really cool.

I didn't really see anything that looked like an upgrade over what I've been playing on my decent-but-far-from-cutting-edge PC for a couple years now.

$499.

Disappointing.

Conference was pretty good. Though I rated down for price point, audio issues, Nelson saying that MGS5 was exclusive, the fact they said nothing about DRM to appease the masses. I expected to be blown away by Desiny... I was left thinking it was just COD with mechs.

If we were just talking about how they'd do in their conference: 8/10

It's apparent their shying away from the drm talk but they've said that this conference was all games and they've delivered.

I'd say 6/10 for me. Good that they showed a decent amount of games, but I kept waiting for something that was a true next-gen experience(perhaps powered by the cloud). Titanfall was the closest, but I saw a lot of jerky animations and AI that still attacked you one at a time.

Titanfall and Quantum Break looked interesting, the rest, nothing special, IMO.

2/5.

I was excited for Ryse, then I saw the combat and my hype instantly deflated. Shooters were incredibly boring. The sound went out twice, embarrassing, but whatever. That price. What the fuck, especially for those not in the US. High in the US, impossible in EU. Indie games looked neat. I really like the concept of Spark, but execution is all that matters. Titanfall looked really great, but I'll just get it for PC. Witcher 3 on PS4 or PC.

No acknowledgement of DRM issues. XBL+ has AC2 and Halo 3, three+ year old games. Wut.

Just a boring, bland conference. Not offensive or bad, but just super boring.

Lot of games, but only The Witcher 3 and Titanfall really impressed me since I didn't like how the MGS5 trailer was directed and the other games were kind of dull. I'll get a lot of the games they showed, but on platforms other than Xbox One. 6/10 in my enjoyment, 2/10 in selling the Xbox One to me.

As a conference, pretty good. Tons of games. Just nothing exclusive that convinced me I need to spend $500 for a Kinect-driven, heavily DRM'd machine.

Ryse??? No.

I gave it 2/5.

Pros:
  • Metal Gear Solid V looked amazing.
  • Remedy's game was the most interesting thing they showed.
  • I love the idea of Forza 5's AI, but it's one of those server-side things that could be done on other platforms.
  • Competing with the PS4 on steaming and sharing video was nice to see, and Twitch!

Cons:
  • DRM trumps all of that. I can't get excited for games I'll never own and never be able to share.
  • $500 for DRM, Kinect, and underpowered hardware. No.

Very, very, great conference. I would say 9/10. But $500 and I am not forgetting the DRM, so 8/10.

My highlight (MGSV) is not an exclusive though.

6/10 or 3/5

+Killer Instict looks good
+MGS5 opener was the best thing
+Swery65 at a microsoft conference my mind is imploding
+Titanfall looked fun
-Titanfall looked old
-$500
-Killer Instict looked silly, Ultra Combo was half hearted
-Ryse
-Can't remember anything else because everything else was unremarkable
-Drivatar

7/10

+ they showed some interesting games for the first time in years: d4, sunset overdrive and below
+ mgsv looked incredible
+ lots of games in general

- horrible ryse demo. not the spartacus blond and sand game i was hoping for
- battlefield demo zzz
- killer instinct smh
- the uk price what the hell. jesus christ that's pricey.

It was alright 3/5, it felt rushed that's for sure. I got confused as to what games we were looking at. One trailer, then another immediately after.

7/10

I dunno if it was the stream or what but the visuals didn't impress me in most of these games. Best looking was MGS

and Ryse looks like ass...QTE the game. Big disappointment. I thought the combat would be so much better

Respawns game looked boring to me too. Which sucks cuz I thought it would be great. Maybe more gameplay will change my mind.

TitanFall was badass! Loved what I saw

Black Tusk Game...wtf. Why did they bother only showing that much? geez

Dead Rising looked ok

Halo trailer was good

BF4 video was boooooooooooooooooooring. Last bit was good on the boat but that's it. I give so much crap to COD ..but it had a dog >_>

Insomniac...smh. Game looks good .but I need gameplay

Price = HAHAHAHAHAHA

Some visually impressive games.
A couple that stood out as being particularly interesting, - Metal Gear and Remedy Game.

But no must haves for me, and the price is out of whack

3/5

I think it was a 5/5 for an E3 Conference. Perhaps the best conference we've ever seen for showcasing games. But, because of the deltas surrounding the XBox One, I've gotta dock a point.

For straight up games, at E3, there's probably never been a better 90minute reveal.. It was one game after another with no fluff, no "waggle to reload," no dance remix interlude, etc. It was 90 minutes of game reveals, 5 or 6 of which were new IPs, one or two of which were major game reveals (MGS, Battlefield, Halo).

But, because XBox One is a boner of a console at the moment, it's not that great.

As a Sony fanboy I give it a 8/10. I had the lowest expectations, but the pacing was great and aside from the technical fuck ups the presentations were done well.

I thought it was mediocre; had MGS5 been exclusive that would have been something special, but none of the exclusives really excited me the way they used to.

For me personally, the direction MS is going in didn't connect with me.

It wasn't a bad conference, but it wasn't stellar by any means either.

5/10 for me.

6/10.

Lots of games, which is great. But really only somewhat hype for The Witcher 3. No gameplay for Quantum Break, military shooter, military shooter, loved original KI, but Rare is no more; MGSV might be okay but is also coming to PS4. That Halo trailer looked great, until Master Chief popped up, don't care for Halol at all. 499 Euroes.
Tonnes of games but overall kind of meh in the end.

A 7 or 8 out of 10.

Very surprised that I liked Ryse as much as I did and now they are saying that you can remove the icons and not pause during moves. So it will be interesting to see more of that and how it looks without the QTE spots.

The price is idiotic. I mean...I hate the prices of these things.

Killer Instinct did indeed look like SF4's art style. Kinda can't believe they're actually making it.

Still gave a 2/5 because I generally wasn't excited during the conference. I was pretty bored. MGS5, KI and Witcher 3 were about the most interesting things there.

Oh, and $499 :lol

For a conference that was suppose to be about the games, there was a significant lack of new/surprising things. In fact, there were some pretty major omissions: Lionhead, Mirror's Edge 2 (prob, confirmed for Sony now), and well, any real Japanese games, beyond MGS5 and Crimson Dragon. DR3 is Capcom, but it's being made in Canada.

What they showed was OK, but I was still disappointed, based on how much they hyped up the GAMES GAMES GAMES talk.

Also, $500.

4/5

Great conference, all they showed was games. No fluff. When was the last conference that this happened?

Haters gonna hate - as a conference this was really good.

Amazing conference for me. Lots of interesting new games, the games themselves looked amazing, and they were so fast on announcing new games that sometimes I didn't even had time to digest.

500 USD is a bit steepy, but for what they have shown i will gladly pay for it!

Looking foward sony's presser. If they can match this this e3 will be indeed amazing!

4/5 from me. Really just pumped out game after game which is what they needed to do. Twitch thing was the random highlight of the show and a pretty big deal for me, and DR3 looked really damn good. I've been fairly burned out on FPS games but Titanfall actually looked very fun. Also, a bunch of people kept assuming KINECT KINECT KINECT and they really handled that well, same with smartglass not seeming necessary but being sprinkled in(which I couldn't care less about).

I REALLY wish they would stop with the horrible scripted banter between people. Also a shame to not have DRM cleared up, but I didn't expect it to be mentioned whatsoever.

Thought it was really good. I was expecting much less so was pleasantly surprised. No unnecessary fat, lots of games.

4/5

I would give it 3/5,

The console price is bit no no in my books. Aside from that the games:

+Killer Instinct
+Dead Rising 3 - although the humor is gone
+Forza looked nice
+Mystery game - cell shaded game

/ Neutral
/ Minecraft
/ FPSes
/ MGS - its multi platform
/ Titan Fall coming on PC

-Price
-Ryse - QTE Fest - that is not gaming - did not like it in Prince of Persia nor any game out there.
-FPSes - don't care and Halo.
