The Invasion levels are fucking brilliant. It's awesome that you can get through with just the basic moveset, but then there's also that next level.

"Spin jump into roll, down to keep momentum, tap to clear th--FUCK! Dammit."

"Are you even having fun?"

"Yes. Again!"

Fantastic game! The only disappointing thing is that there are so few of those musical levels. Those were by far my favourite levels in the game and I really wished there were alot more than what was offered. Maybe we'll get some more as DLC?

Just completed the last 8-bit levels.

That shit was intense. I'm sweating like hell.

I'm in exactly the same boat, I've now completed all invasion levels/8 bit levels and all levels in the main game (I saved for the teenies in 8 bit/invasion too) and I think I'm done with the game, I love it, but I have no will to play Origin's levels that I've already completed multiple times again.
A great game though... and that 8 bit dragon level took me literally hours.

Loved the demo!

Is there a fix for the pc version yet? There's a bug where the game switches to 24hz when you display it on a television screen. Makes the game run in slowmo.

I think I managed the 8-bit Dragon Slayer stage in 10 minutes, sure I lost a few times but it wasn't that hard once you realize you're just timing your button presses.

Stopped playing this for a few days while I've been grinding Puppeteer. Still great. I am trying to finish the 8-bit levels. The dragon one is HARD, though I haven't spent a ton of time on it yet. Then I need to do about 30 more Origins levels and I should be done. Well, technically done, though I'll still be at the Challenge Mode. Love that thing.

Any news on a patch date for the Vita version ?

Not yet.

Aurora is now my main love her design. Anyone got an avatar of her I could have?

Nearly finished the second world and absolutely loving this game been completing the return to origins levels as an when they unlock as well and getting golds on every level as I go. I think i'm enjoying this ust as much as Origins but only time will tell if it's better.

Hey all,

I'm considering picking up this game for the Wii U. How's the game overall, and how well does Rayman Legends utilize the gamepad even when I'm playing by myself?

Btw, sorry about repeating myself, but what's the best way to get some psn buddies for the trophies? My PSN friends don't play Rayman and those who do are on Steam =(

Very well indeed. I downloaded the demo for the PS3 just to see how the Murfy levels translated to a regular controller and it's a shadow of the game played using the touchscreen. The difference is night and day, there's a great deal less skill involved just pressing a button instead of using the touchscreen because Murfy automatically moves into the correct position, they might as well have missed those levels out completely for the other versions tbh.

I was a bit worried a while back that there would be too many Murfy levels but now I've started playing them there aren't enough of them, I want more. A great deal of fun.

I disagree, with the controller Murfy becomes an accent to the regular platform timing. I cant imagine anyone playing a stage like Hell Breaks Loose and going "Wow theres no skill involved, I wish I could play this without having direct control over the character"

So I was playing the "Masion in the deep" level and I got to the part with the lasers and music changed to the remix of Oceans Twelve laser dance scene, my jaw droped on the floor. This game this fucking game so gooooooood.

Less than 100 Teensies to go, I'll watch some videos of completing World 4's Invasion levels as the one where Shadow Rayman is chasing you is too freakin' hard for me ugh.

If there's a 'Finish this stage as fast as you can' Online Challenge, you could always just replay that challenge and beat my record 30 times and the Silver Trophy will pop up.

For anyone that has played both the Vita version and another platform version, am I the only one finding that the audio on the Vita version is overly compressed?

I'm just up to Castle Rock, which is something I've played on both the WiiU and PC demos, and listening to the audio track on a good set of headphones it's notably inferior. The WiiU and PC demos had something that was at CD quality (or close enough), but if I had to take a stab at it the Vita version sounds like it's encoded at roughly 64Kbps AAC-LC. Which is to say that the audio loses a lot of its clarity/fidelity.

For a game with such a strong emphasis on music this is a shame; there are points where the lack of fidelity feels very noticeable even without having heard the comparable PC/WiiU version of the track. And I don't remember Origins being this compressed, which would mean they've increased the audio compression since then.

I'll be adding you for the same reason if that's okay? Loving this game, especially as I can play it with my wife and daughter present, unlike that other big game that's coming out tomorrow.

I'll try to have one or two challenges with a Low Ranking Bronze for you guys to try and get the reamining trophies through.

Thanks for the feedback. Didn't know there was a demo – going to download and try this game out.

First and only "complaint" (although it's more of a request). I wish the challenge app records transferred over in game. Would make me feel better about deleting the now useless app.

More of an entitled gamer wish than anything else though, game is absolutely brilliant.

300k lums to go and I'll be done with this game.
I'm just playing daily for the challenges since I have all platinums/700 teensies so it's a bit slow.

Apologies if this has been asked, but is this still worth getting on Wii U if im only going to play solo? If not, I may just go 360.
I have the Vita version. It's similar to the Wii U and I personally prefer the Murfy touch levels because that's how the game was originally designed. The other versions, which I also played, are still good but feel kind of shoehorned in. The platforming feels more shallow and simpler but still frustrating at times in some of the levels because of using Murfy.

If you want the freedom of movig Rayman, 360 is good. But if you want a more puzzle based platforming, Wii U is great.

Finished it, Last musical level is amazing, Me and my friends were in tears from laughter.

Also Michel Ancel should not make any more games in the series, It's time for Beyond good and evil 2.

Fallen Xbot (cannot continue gaining levels in this class)
murphy is the only bad thing about this. why is he even there? ugh.

Just finished all of living dead party and while all the filters were pretty bad I think the worst were: Orchestral Chaos and Grannies world tour.

Having played through PS3,360, and Wii U versions by myself I say go Wii U. I like touch screen murphy way better than press B/O for murphy.
