At $1,000, the PlayStation is no longer a mass market brand.
BR€AK ¥N$1000 w/ a new Miyazaki souls SP game or something compelling on that level.
$0 for Concord,Fairgame$, Marathon, Horizon, etc.
they're going to use standard SSDs once more more than likely. If that's what you're talking about. The console itself I can spend whatever it is but it's going to be a kick in the balls if I can't use my 2TB expansion memory.
Wild that there's no $500 option! Not even under consideration.
So what's the maximum you'll pay, like 25k pounds?Whatever it costs. It's a one off purchase (maybe 2 if it breaks) every 4 years. If you're on gaf, you prob use it daily…for many (unless you're American) you probably use it more than your car…and use it a similar amount as a sofa. My sofa was £5k and I'll keep it for a decade…which is far more than the yearly cost of a ps6. It's really not all that expensive.
One brand driven by culture while the other by reason.Currently $0. I'm currently at my limit with sony. This has been a very lackluster gen.
The ONLY reason why I have even the slightest interest in xbox next gen is because it'll be a pc hybrid.
Thing is even at the time people were calling that a premium or 'enthusiast' price, and it wasn't that long ago.I paid $700 for PS5 Pro so I guess I'd pay that again, but not for just a spec bump. Need to get their first party in order and make PlayStation a special place to play again
I think the PS5 may be my last PlayStation. As rare as it is that I buy games for it and with cross gen being a thing, it's hard to imagine me upgrading.
