Wasn't there a recent rumour that Retro were developing a spiritual sequel to Goldeneye/Perfect Dark to cover Nintendo's FPS gap? Focus on split screen offline and online multiplayer to appeal to the old crowd.

Call of Duty Declassified is the best selling Vita game in NA. So no it isn't a complete disaster. Critical disaster? Yes, but that isn't the point.
Nintendo generally releases 1 big game for each platform. Just like ALBW and 3D World years ago.
