Blue shell needs to come back. I remember almost spending more time mindlessly spinning and traversing with it in these levels than actually trying to play the multiplayer XD

NSMB is my favourite NSMB just because of this mode. I would play this all of the time with friends during lunch break in high school.

Are you familiar with the local coop challenges in NSMBU? They're great, better than this mode imho.

I love this game mode so much! They should do something with this again! does anyone know if there is a rom hack for this or whether it's relatively easy to add more levels to versus for instance? I don't think 5 is enough if you play it a lot.
