If you pick a female voice then NPCs use a female pronoun when they speak to you (and vice versa), so every NPC in the game assumes your gender. It's a gradual thing though, they've been "microaggression'd" more and more frequently by CDPR in recent years, they thought a CP2077 trailer was transphobic and yada yada
