Blah this sucks my brother is super allergic to several medication as well so I am always afraid this is going to happen to him if he ever needs surgery. At least the donations will help the family so they only have to focus on morning and not on how to cover the costs of this loss.

Oh god. This fuckin hits hard.
I'm in a weird place in my life, because I've never been happier. But then I read this. And suddenly, I feel a big lump in my throat and tears are welling up. This one hits hard, because when I was younger, my brother and I would watch RoosterTeeth together. He's a massive fan. When I moved to Japan last year, I had not seen my brother for years. It felt so good to be able to hug him and see him again. I never realized how much homesickness I felt when we parted ways in our life.
The best thing we did that entire time. The thing I cherished most my entire time in Japan, was sitting back at his place drinking beers, eating pizza and watching RoosterTeeth videos around his computer. It felt like we were kids again. So this actually hurts.
I better call him and make sure he's okay. :*(

I can list dozens of politicians, hundreds of criminals, and thousands of terrorists who this should have happened to.

Some allergies will not be encountered until they are actually being used on you. My brother is allergic to some antibiotics but they didn't know it until he was proscribed some and ended up getting quite sick. In this case I am guessing it was a rare reaction to a sedative.

Just got off the phone with my brother. I could tell he was crying. God this is fuckin awful. Feel a pit in my stomach. He has his family though so he's fine. But damn. Damn damn damn.
I know he had a lot of friends, and the RoosterTeeth family community will support his family.
Just remember to always be thankful and loving to anyone you have in your life. People matter. Relationships matter. I know you can't live every day of your life thinking about it. But it's nice to step back every once in a while, and remember this, and to remind those around you that you love them.

RIP Monty. You were one of my favourites at RoosterTeeth and I absolutely loved your casual-fun animations. Being a creator myself, you managed to inspire me in countless ways. You will be deeply missed. I'm sad I never got the chance to head down to RTX to see you in person.
