Glaceon will always be the best Eeveelution.
They were all really good. Glaceon and Leafeon fit the group perfectly.
Favourite is Espeon. This card was my favourite.

Ok we are NOT talking shit about Sylveon in this thread. He is cute and majestic and everyone should love it.

Fantastic job Watch Da Birdie. You are going god's work.
So, what is the consensus on nicknaming Pokemon? Yay or nay?

Ash Ketchum doesn't nickname his Pokemon and neither do I.
Ditto in Melee:
So cool.
I don't see why anyone would be against nicknames.
Richie does, and he handed Ash his own ass in-tournament. >
Though you could argue that the referee from the Indigo League made some dumb calls. Being put to sleep counting an instant KO is bullshit.

And some ridiculous Ditto transformations
And some ridiculous Ditto transformations
At this point, Ditto is more of a tool than an actual Pokemon, although Imposter was a nice buff (albeit one that made Transform entirely pointless)
Ditto would basically be the concept of a "ditto" match, except in the form of a character with a unique gimmick. Ditto would be a completely new character that would give the game an interesting game play mechanic without just having it be a boring tile on the CSS like the random button. Doing Ditto this way is also more close to Ditto in Pokemon, rather than having Ditto be the random button, as Ditto is bad at transforming if it doesn't have a referencing right in front of it.
Ditto would have
- A unique stock icon
- His symbol is always a Pokeball
- Unique victory animations
- A unique Final Smash
- Unique taunts
- Unique pain and death sounds
- Unique star KO and screen splat animations
Ditto has no moves of his own. Upon entering battle, Ditto appears, wiggles around a bit, and in a puff of smoke (the Stadium animation for Transform), Ditto transforms into a random enemy. Ditto retains 100% of the characters moveset and mechanics and visual appearance. Ditto uses whatever palette slot matches the one he picked. If it's the same as the enemy, he appears brighter like in FG. This includes all equipment, custom moves, everything. Ditto retains his stock icon and Pokeball symbol. This form stays with Ditto every life, he cannot switch forms after death. Ditto retains all of the character's voice lines as well, except all of them are pitch shifted up, as if they had picked up a poison mushroom. Ditto has unique pain sounds, however.
Ditto has unique taunts. When taunting, a puff of smoke appears, Ditto appears in his normal form, taunts and immediately goes right back to being the other character in a puff of smoke.
Taunts
- Ditto appears and starts laughing uncontrollably while his body changes shape rapidly. Ditto cannot hold his form while laughing according to the dex.
- Ditto appears, wiggles around and then sneezes, looking sad but then smiling again. The dex never says it, but I don't think it can hold its form while sneezing.
- "Clefairy" appears, spins around and wags its finger as a star darts over its head. Has a Ditto face (obviously).
Victory Animations
- A "Charmander's" back is turned to us. It turns around revealing a Ditto face (camera focus here), and then does the Pokemon Snap Charmander dance on a loop.
- "Tyranitar" roars (camera focus here), and then in a puff of smoke, appears a laughing Ditto.
- Ditto transforms into a cube, a pyramid and then a sphere (camera focus here), and then bounces around.
8 Colors
- Light Purple
- Dark Blue (not shiny)
- Orange
- Light Brown with Yellow Eyes ("sandy" Ditto)
- Black with white eyes
- Pink (classic colors)
- Aqua (not shiny)
- Dark Purple with White Eyes (Muk colored)
Final Smash: Hyper Beam
- In a puff of smoke, appears "Tyranitar" with a Ditto face. "Tyranitar" unleashes a huge horizontal beam from its mouth, which is aimable. Similar to Samus' Final Smash. At the end, "Tyranitar" roars and then a puff of smoke back to whatever character Ditto was.
In single player modes, Ditto will always copy the player character (always 1P in co-op), to remove a random element from All Star or Classic. If Ditto plays all star, he just copies a random character from the first three that spawn and keep that form in the All Star rest room until the next match where he transforms again. All Star is efficient with how characters load and unload, so I think this is probably the only way it would work. At the credits minigame, it just picks a random character.
Ditto would have the same three trophies everyone has and the game would treat Ditto exactly the same as any other character.
According to the dex, Ditto makes a perfect copy of something if it can see it. Its face only appears if it has to copy from memory, which is why this will work without needing everyone's face to be replaced, which wouldn't work at all. The anime is wrong in this regard, Ditto is always a perfect copy unless it's distracted or doesn't remember the form well.

If only I could have a goddamn Bug Eevee.
He's the only way to breed male-only species and genderless Pokemon to get their Eggs, which unfortunately also means those Pokemon for the most part are incapable of learning Egg Moves since that's through the male parent, and Ditto has no moves except for Transform. I really wish one of these days Game Freak introduced some unique system for the genderless Pokemon to gain Egg Moves, but that's a discussion for another topic.
Starting in Generation VI, this is no longer an issue, due to both parents being able to pass down Egg Moves at the same time.
Suicune had them before they were cool.Still can't come round on the flesh ribbons.
It is still one of my favorite games in the whole franchise, tied with Colosseum.I always choose Espeon whenever I play XD Gale of Darkness (does anyone even remember that game?).
I never really cared for them either. Didn't really care for the initial 3 even though they were quite useful, I liked Umbeon and Espeon thanks to Colosseum, and Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon do nothing for me.Before I get to Eevee later, I'll say this...I never really cared for the family.
Only ones I really liked was Espeon and Umbreon only because of Colosseum.
