RUMOR: Borderlands Remastered Edition incoming?

Situations like this are confusing the hell out of me owning PS4, Xbone, and a new PC. I know that 2 looks better on PC, but I played the shit out of that game on Xbox 360. Now with this coming out, I don't know if I should triple dip, or just stick with it on PC.

Ps4 we can play.

Also please have the pre sequel.

If they do all three I'll probably pick it up if I can convince my friends to as well.

Skipped out on the Pre-Sequel in hopes of something like this.

If the first Borderlands is released with an updated engine and some tweaks to the game and it's FoV, and if it's released for the PC, I will buy it, you hear me! I will buy it.

Please stop with the remasters. Sad things that as long as people buy them they will continue to make them. I don't want this generation to be defined by remasters/remakes.

they're remasters all you can't go wrong

if it's how they're choosing to bring a bl game to the newer systems then sure. Having all 3 games in one would be a crap-ton of content.

If it's the original, I find it hard to justify replaying it considering I'm having too much fun with Mechromancer and Claptrap classes in their successors. So I'm super spoiled by those characters.

I'd buy the remaster IF -- it's 1080p/60FPS and includes the pre-sequel. I've seen what the game looks like running on those specs on a PC and it's really quite nice, a far cry from the choppy console versions.

If it's some 900p/variable 30 FPS they really shouldn't bother.

This is like, the one franchise where a remaster makes the least sense.

But yeah, I guess there's a market for it. I guess.

If it got the physx , day one buy for me. I always play that gamw and think its always fun. Gimme gimme!

You know what doesn't need a remastering?

Man, 2K is really just milking this shit. First Borderlands 2.5, now a remaster of a series that doesn't need one.

700+ hours logged in BL2. I would definitely by 1 and 2 again for XB1.

The pre-sequel I really don't care about. I might give it a try if it's included in a remaster bundle.

Why are so many people hating on remasters?

In what way are they harming your enjoyment of other games?

I'll never understand people being bothered by the very existence of remasters. Some people want to play better looking, and or running versions of games that like from the previous gen. Some people for some reason or other, will never have a desire to play on a gaming PC. Remasters are a good product for them, and hardware exclusives . . . well there really is no question that I'm in favour of them. TLOU remaster seems to have a lot of love, well deserved love from what I've observed. I myself would love an Infamous 1&2 remaster, with them running at 1080p/60fps. Yep, that would be rad.

If they uncensor the gore, I'll buy. Chances are, the first game will get the same treatment the 2nd one did :(

It literally killed my enjoyment of the game. Sniping had zero impact at all :/

If it's all 3 games that's rad, but as someone who has hundreds and hundreds of hours in both Borderlands 1 & 2 (I actively disliked the pre-sequel and dropped it after ~8-10 hours) I can't imagine going back to the first game. I'd still be down for this just for the 2nd game, but I can't imagine touching the other two unless they actually made mechanic and other changes to bring all 3 to parity, and that likely goes way beyond a remaster really.

It'll probably be a quick and decent port for current gen to get more money to help fund the threequel.

And I'm totally ok with that. But I won't get it and would be far more interested in the pre-sequel for vita.

All these "I'd rather have Borderlands 3" posts, and I'm like, when the hell has an up-port ever prevented a sequel from existing? This just in, Halo 5 isn't being developed at all.

Let us use any of the playable characters revealed so far across all three games (logic/lore be damned) and I'll be interested.

I'll Krieg like there's no tomorrow.
