That doesnt make a lot of sense though, Activision could have put Crash in Skylanders at any time. There doesnt need to be a bonus that lets them use him now.
Well I'm still 100% confident in a new game
Obviously Sony owns the rightssince Activision isn't credited in Uncharted 4. And they would have to be.
Its obvious Sony owns the rights. And maybe this was part of the deal/cross promotion, the only thing is they may have gotten the rights a bit too late to show any new game at e3, but after all this they'll certainly announce its in development.
I mean they're similar, but it is certainly missing the charm of the original series.
My personal feeling is that a new game is unlikely but they may test the market with a remaster and some new appearances.
I could see there being an appearance in Skylanders, potentially an appearance in a Playstation All-Stars type game, and maybe an HD remaster of one of the original games (or the Trilogy).
I wonder if potentially Sony didn't buy the rights to the Character for new games but potentially bought the rights to the games that they had published originally - which would also be why it was able to use the first game in Uncharted 4 without having to give any credit to activision.
Lol what the hell, you serious? If so, Sony should have done the decent thing and say a new Crash game was not in development, instead of this 'we don't own the rights' crap.
Kyle Bosman was right! Maybe they saw him make that bet and went from there.

Guys couldn't it be possible that Activision made a clause in the licencing agreement that if Sony bought or borrowed the Crash IP Activision are allowed to still use him in a set number of Skylanders games?
It is a win/win for both companies.
If PS4 Crash is popular it will also help push Skylander sales and kf Skylanders sales do well it increases chance of more Crash games...
I've been saying this. It can gauge interest in the Crash IP by having Skylanders promote the game like how it did for Nintendo with DK and Bowser.
But people here would rather jump to conclusions and want to laugh at people's hopes and dreams.
It's hard to even have a decent conversation here without shit like that happening.
Well, I agree with you. There is also the fact that it says Crash would be Ps4 exclusive and that doesn't make any sense. Because if they still 100% on the rights then not having crash on every platform would be insane and would achieve less sales.
on a side note, what if this is the only requirement Actii is asking of Sony for them to be able to use the IP?
Guys this being true is good news. Especially the PS4 exclusive part. Why do you think he would be PS4 exclusive? Think about it. If this is happening, a PS4 exclusive Crash game is coming too.
How would they make this a PS4 exclusive? I thought the whole point was you could buy these characters and use them on any console
Yup, the spoiled is all I need to have total confidence.Well I'm still 100% confident in a new game
