Held back by 1080/60 ?
And you won´t see any dynamic day/night/shadows if the X1 version doesn´t has it, they won´t add something so fundamental to the PC version.
I want ultra wide 1440p with 100fps, so yes.

Forza 6 with a PC wheel would be good. The fact that you can only buy wheels that are compatible with PC+PS4 or PC+XB1 is frustrating but this would help
Less Xbox, less third party games.
What a strange thing to say, hoping PC only gamers won't get to play a game.I hope it's false, they need to keep some exclusives to the Xbox... Is Microsoft throwing the towel already ?
I've already said this in other threads previously but surely Microsoft have to be aware of the demand for Halo FPS games on PC. I mean they can't possibly have ignored the hype around the Halo rumors on Steam.
They know there is demand, even if the MCC is "old". I don't understand why they have not already made that move.
It would be such a killer app for the Windows store. It would obliterate anything else and this is coming from someone who really is not thrilled by the Halo IP, but yeah I will absolutely buy it just to prove to Microsoft that the store can be successful.
Ball is in their camp.
Forza 6 not being held back by hardware would be glorious.
I know they've showed Forza 5 running on PC.Didn't they show Forza 6 running on a PC as a DirectX 12 example last year?

We'll have this answer in every one of these threads won't we?

It would be interesting to see what modders could do to forza if they had the chance.
Windows Tumors: Microsoft enters the QOL market!WPdang has a pretty great track record on Windows phone and Windows tumors as well, so it's not just some random blog
Edit: and of course I meant Forza Horizon not Horizons -.-
It would be interesting to see what modders could do to forza if they had the chance.
Well there goes my reason to buy an xbox one

they'd have to specifically build support for third party wheels if it's a windows store exclusive
which it probably would be
and i doubt they'd prioritize that
Apparently the Win 10 store version of Tomb Raider does not allow modding/overlays since it runs as a sandboxed W10 app (please correct me if wrong), so that's the catch here with these games.

Can't mod apps on Win store. It would be interesting to see what modders could do to forza if they had the chance.
I don't see third parties ignoring the Xbox One, not with Microsoft behind.
Sharing exclusives with Windows 10 would be a very sensible move, there is no negative as far as the whole platform is concerned.
What a strange thing to say, hoping PC only gamers won't get to play a game.
How do you feel about Quantum Break ?
In terms of the Xbox One? Sure seems like it.
In terms of gaming? Doesn't seem like it.
Forza 5 but yeah.
There are also some behind the scenes footage of Turn 10's studio where you can see F5 running in what's titled "DX11 game render" or something like that.
EDIT: Also when asked about Forza PC, the response was "we'll never say never"
But we already are on that platform. Xbox means more than your beloved console now.If they want to play that game, they need to buy the platform... It's what exclusives are suppose to do...
It's a safe bet Halo 5 would sell very well even exclusive to the Windows 10 store. If I was in charge I would have already proceeded to make it cross buy/cross play with Windows 10.Whats genuinely weird is that they arent doing Halo 5. Considering how hard they are pushing Halo as a competitive sport again, I would have thought that would be a no brainer. PC is where you build a competitive community when it comes to games. Its where all the big hitters are. And the kind of exposure it could get there would massively benefit future Halo on the consoles.
Horizon 3 i can see work on PC. But i doubt Forza Motorsport is gonna be popular in PC.
They are better simulation games on the PC.

Yup. Its stupid to port your rendering engine to D3D12 for three months and not use it afterwards other than as demo lol. Hopefully this rumor is true.Didn't they show Forza 6 running on a PC as a DirectX 12 example last year?
If you've been passing up the countless sales and free game offers galore at this point, then you probably didn't have serious intentions to begin with.
Anyways I hope they bring over Forza and might as well get Halo to. Xbox is just the dumbed down Windows baby brother at this point.
It's not up to them specifically. They don't get to decide if a PC version is part of the plan.
That's Microsoft's call.
Eh, if Forza comes to PC I'll probably play it more than any other choices I have. It would be nice to have a series with hundreds of official cars and the kind of backing that Turn 10 has.
Fingers crossed owning it on X1 gives me the PC copy for free!
The Xbox version already supports wheels. It shouldn't be too difficult to bring that support across to PC. Releasing a racing sim on PC without wheel support would be dumb
Thanks, removed that.GOW4 & Scalebound part is not correct.
WPDang just mentioned about what GAMESPOT reported previously.
The source told WPDang only Forza Horizon 3, Halo Wars 2 & Forza 6.

Yeah, but surely for them to say it at least means discussions had taken place maybe? Either way with a new rumour behind it I'd like to think that's the case.

Well, I would have never bought an xbox one in the first place
i'm curious as to whether they'd support mouse and keyboard controls with halo pc
