Possible HUGE leak on the GTA forums. No idea how legit this is.

http://gtaforums.com/topic/860017-next-dlc-speculation-thread/page-823

REDDIT SUMMARY

**Biker DLC: (Bikes, clothes, free roam missions) purchase clubhouse to activate biker free roam missions

Law and order DLC (Police free roam and vehicles) Purchase police vehicles to activate free roam police missions

The Luxury Living DLC (Mansions & Pets) Purchase Mansion to purchase exotic pets (Mansion grounds only)

The Blaine County and Paleto DLC (Animals in free roam) Animals online syncing workaround via VIP mission type activation

(Purchase hunting license and equipment to activate hunting objectives) (Purchase New warehouses and properties)

North Yankton and Liberty City (Online Map expansion) $£ Paid DLC 1 2017 sept (Not Yet Complete)

San Fierro and Las ventures (Online Map expansion) $£ Paid DLC 2 2018 oct Not Yet Complete

Vice City.... Not until GTA VI, some time around 2020 At the VERY earliest!

San Fierro and Las Ventures were built alongside Los santos way back in the early development stages of GTAV, Scrapped on PS3/Xbox for obvious reasons!! After more then 3 years of re building for PS4/XBO/PC, Both are still being worked on with a release target of October 2018!

Single player DLC has been replaced with Online Map expansion model! Mainly due to the unforeseen success of micro transactions and GTA online in general!

Liberty City will be released September 2017.. The DLC will include:
- A Open ticket (for city slickers) to Liberty City!
- A Open ticket (for Snow Blowers) to North Yankton!
- EXCLUSIVE VIP Membership (for High rollers) which grants Exclusive access to THE CASINO in Los Santos!
- Pre Order Bonus of 1 million GTA Casino chips for pre order!!

Micro transactions can NOT buy GTA CASINO CHIPS!

Liberty City, North Yankton and the Los Santos Casino scheduled together to keep player migration relatively balanced!!

Liberty City will enable you to trade on the stock market, once a Office has been Purchased! Similar to the current crate set up!

Both DLC's will be priced equivalent to a full game!!

I've posted on this forum twice! (Not including this post) one was BEFORE the release of GTAV back in 2013 (Check back and have a careful read, compare it to what we have today) and one post was yesterday (2016)

Most if not everything mentioned in that 2013 post has been implemented or reworked into the current GTA Online we have today, from the old mission set up format, to individual heist roles, to the current free mode events!

With the Next four Updates to come, GTA Online will have utilised most if not all the work that went into GTAV such as animals, police vehicles, Stock Market, Blaine County etc.. Can't say much more, there on to me.....

Keep Speculating and Keep up the great work GTA FORUM! You guys Rock!! **
He later says along with yan2295 that free dlc is supposed to end in Spring 2017.
This guy, softsecrets, leaked the heists, ceo, and free roam challenges months before gta v was released.

I wonder how the success of GTAO will impact RDR2's design.

GTA Online and then subsequently Red Dead Online are going to make Rockstar bucket loads of money. Sad but true. As long as we get epic SP campaigns, I am fine with it.

As someone who didn't enjoy GTA Online at all this is terrible news. The days of top-tier SP DLC from Rockstar are over and that sucks.

EDIT: I know this makes a LOT of money for Rockstar but frankly I've lost a lot of respect for them with decisions such as this. They have more than enough money to make both but they only want to milk the cash cow dry.

If true, fuck this shit.

I love GTAV, but GTA Online was trash so I'll never get to do these.

I know that most won't like it but I do. I've had way, way, way more fun with GTA online playing with friends than the single player.
Keep bringing more GTAO stuff, Rockstar.

Isn't the online part just the same missions over and over? I've seen people play it but it didn't look that amazing to me. Let alone so good to spend so much money on.

Depressing shit. RDR2 will probably be the same. I'm not expecting another Undead Nightmare-like expansion.

Did Rockstar ever promise SP DLC for GTA5? I'm genuinely asking. I haven't played GTA5, so I don't know.
GTAV Story Mode Updates. For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor's action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas.

It's the logical move but how they keep a balance. Know a lot of people would be disappointed if red dead 2 was treated the way GTA v was in terms of post support.

If true then that's like the nightmare scenario: quality singleplayer content being scrapped because of microtransactions and online dlc. That's everything I fear going forward.

Urrghhh

GTA4 DLC was easily one of the best single player content in the series. I was hoping it continued with GTAV 😔

The one question i keep thinking whenever i hear how amazing GTAO is doing:

Who ARE these people!?
This. I know some people who buy microtransaction stuff in some games, heck, I bought some TF2 cosmetics, but GTAO is basically unheard of here, nevermind the purchases.

Yes. It was supposed to come in 2014 then 2015 then they pretended they said nothing about it and stopped mentioning it.

For as great as this all sounds, this is still all I can think of with GTA Online:
Edit: To clarify, invites that get unanswered most of the time.
It does get better with friends, of course, but ehh.

1) I would not be surprised if it were true.
2) GTAO is making R* and Take-Two an exorbitant amount of money.
3) Thus, it makes sense that R* would create more DLC/content for GTAO.

While GTAO was really poor at launch, it's actually gotten a lot better. I have a lot of fun playing with a couple friends and have never paid a cent for it. There's a LOT to do.

This and the rumors about the GTA 6 delay for 2020 make me really sad. My interest in the online mode is close to zero.

Fuck, this sucks. The online element literally killed the expansions for everyone else. What a load of bullshit.

Why can't they STILL go ahead and sell these as single player expansions for those of us here that think GTAO is a flaming heap of garbage gameplay and loading screens??? I will pay for the missions, maps, etc, to be accessible within single player, and I'm sure many people would too.

I sincerely hope this isn't how RDR3 is designed. I'll hold off buying that just to see, now.

Holy shit. I'm hoping it's all true...Always pumping out updates that keep making me want to play it more and more despite my limited time. These updates will be fantastic

Edit - second thought, I did love all the gtaiv expansions, I would love something along those lines as well. Here's hoping for Los Santos Stories on Vita in 2020!
