It's trolling not to be happy with getting Merc Kings for free?
The definition of trolling has been brutalized to the point of irrelevance I see.

The sting of it being free on PS+ is lessened by the fact that we're all due a PS4 copy too when it launches! So technically 2 PS4 games, 3 PS3 games and 3 Vita titles this month guys..

But they didn't and they advertise games as a part of their Plus service. They could always say they're cutting that part put of the program, but as of right now they are obligated to put up games because it's part of their advertised service.
The way this has worked before with CrossBuy games suggests that yes, we will.
But obviously that's not confirmation. The rules could change at any time.

I think they only don't specify because it's complicated, they'd have to list the same games twice.
EuroGaf don't really know what a meh month is till they've experienced NA PS+. There were months where Euro would be getting great stuff, and here in NA we would be given games that would make what are shown here appear as godly. For the people saying things have gone down hill, umm what?

They are putting games out though? They're doing exactly what they said they would do, people just expected too much.
Edit: My point was they didn't have to promise PS4 games but they did and now people are complaining because they're not getting the games they wanted. Some people here are far too entitled.

Absolutly. Didnt had the chance to play hotline miami until now but really want to try it. The games might not be AAA Titles, but i see it that way:
PS4 Mercenary Kings
- Its 4 Player coop so very cool to play with my buddies
PS3 Pro Evo 2014
- Also this can be played with my friends since we all dont care for soccer ---> Might be fun to play with buddies
Sly Cooper Thieves In Time
- Never played Sly but are really interested in SucherPunchs first IP since i love Infamous. Also this is crossbuy so one more game for my Vita!

as you all see, this month is not as bad as some may say. at least for me. A coop PS4 game is 100x better than a AAA Game like Metro Last Light or AC3. Coop is always fun!
Exactly this. I expect to see Plus on PS4 pick up over time and eventually it'll be as good as peak years on PS3 but it'll take time.
Vita - fingers crossed - I hope to see uptick on the back of increasing sales in Japan and see more Japanese games hit Plus in the West as a way of filling out content.

That's not what you said. You said they weren't obligated to put anything up. I agree that it's silly to be mad that you might have a month of Plus where none of the games interest you, but they are obligated to put something up.

You have instances where games like Binding of Isaac will be free on Plus the month it debuts. I hardly think then that there's any sort of decline being indicated.
Obviously it's silly to complain about the quality of something for free, but getting Merc Kings means not getting something else, although it could be worse, last month was much worse actually, why is it that Flower, Flow, Escape Plan, Sound Shapes are all just cross-buy for free, but for some reason Dead Nation isn't cross-buy, so they have a game to give away.

Last E3 they could have said that we wouldn't be getting PS+ games on PS4 for at least a year until the library is big enough. That's what I mean about them not being obligated to give us PS4 games. Right now we're getting 'free' games on the day they release and people are still whining because they're not AAA. It's just ridiculous entitlement.
I sort of agree. But they can't really put AAA games on plus yet. Publishers would ask for crazy money this soon after launching their game.
I know you are quite fond of your Xbox One (from Eurogamer comments), so go enjoy your free Xbox One games... oh wait.
That's what it's starting to sound like. I understand people want AAA games for free, but the platform just launched. They need time to build up the library so they can have better games to put on PS+ later. We didn't get Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider off the bat on PS3 so I have no idea why people are coming in here complaining that we aren't getting Thief, KIllzone, or some other big game from the jump. For me, I'm super excited for Mercenary Kings and can't wait to play it, but then again, I have patience.

To the people complaining know this. They didn't even offer PlayStation Plus on Vita until months after release. Just be thankful for what you do get at this point. In the last month we also got a $2-$3 discount on a lot of digital games as well, like Fez.
Also, you can't please everyone. I for one am excited to have Mercenary Kings and would prefer that over getting something like Call of Duty free. At least I will play Mercenary Kings. Careful what you wish for, instead of getting a game like Secret Ponchos you may end up with Tomb Raider PS+ Edition (Multiplayer Only).

Twisted Metal would be a good one. Throw up the PS1/ PSP games on discount too. I'd love to see another (hell even if it isn't by Jaffe) so hopefully it would gain some attention for the series.
I thought Warhawk was dead and they turned off the servers or were sometime soon in the future? Maybe I am mistaken or thinking of something else.

Last month i find Dynasty Warriors Next on my Vita with PS+. Never played the series. Now im a fan of Dynasty Warriors and got right into Dynasty Warriors 8. Just give it a try.
Couldn't agree more. The games this month interest me way more than Infinite and Metro. Shocking news: different people like different games.

It's about 6-7gb cross buy games include all versions in the filesize and Sly includes 5 vita versions.
