They got a bit smarter , if you concentrate on smaller parts , you can put all your effort in these , it will take longer, but works , logistics are also easier ..
That’s why the West needed to go for the K.O months ago , with tanks and what not ..

Any gains that they've made has been at the expense of tens of thousands of Russians, the Ukrainians know fine well what they're doing, they're making them bleed in areas of no real significance whilst amassing troops in others, not to mention they are being trained and equipped by the best in the world with better and heavier weaponry.
You mention Russia are planning an offensive? With what? Outdated tanks and Conscripts with little to no training? You have to read between the lines in the news that the west drip feeds the world aimed at Russia, first it was "we're not sending tanks" which meant we've begun training Ukrainians on how to use our tanks and fight combined arms battles, then it was "tanks are not off the menu" which means training has completed and we're getting logistics set up to now "we're sending tanks"... What's the next murmurings.. F16's definitely not sending those lol ffs pilots are already training/trained and logistics are being set up.
This to me speaks of a major offensive being planned by Ukraine involving superior armour and air support which means they're going after Crimea and with the state of Russian forces, they'll take it and hopefully that puts an end to this fucking abomination of a war and Putin himself and we can all get back to normal ans I can book a holiday in Odessa to show my support
Except they don't care as much about all these deaths.. so they just keep throwing people.. it's quite a danger, if you keep this up long enough you force a break-through, that's just how it works. Unless you as Ukraine have air and ground superiority, that's why I am quite annoyed all the good stuff arrives so late ...

You're thinking like a Russian M8, and the Russians are thinking this is ww1 ffs, you don't win a war by throwing bodies at entrenched positions
There are quite a few military analysts and professionals, that see this as a potential problem .. just saying . And yes they can overwhelm you this way and win .. especially as both sides don’t have a technical advantage at the moment. And Russia takes on smaller pieces of land to engage in.
I respect your opinion , but this is mine . That’s why Ukraine badly needs tanks , f16s, Apaches , all type of sams and what not.
It’s mostly dumb stuff they launch, dumb ammunition , rockets etc except for those Hi-mars, we all have seen what a couple of those can do. And from the Russian side those Iranian drones proved effective.
And that’s why the bureaucracy must be staying to a minimum and we the west need to provide more and faster .

Quite the opposite, Turkey or the Ottoman Empire, was in one of the best geopolitical positions in the world.
It's in a very important crossroad for world trade, for centuries. One of the main reasons the Ottoman Empire became as powerful as it did, was because trade between Asia and Europe must pass through there.
The discovery of the trade route through south African sea in the XV century and the build of the Suez canal, reduced it's importance in world trade.

Stalin even threatened Turkey with war over it. But Turkey immediately asked military help from the USA, and got it. After this Stalin backed down.
But since the late XIX century, the Ottoman empire started to decline. So it started to play European powers to it's advantage.
For example, before the start of WW1, The Ottoman Empire managed to modernize it's military by having the German empire train their army and the French empire to train their navy.
At this point France and Germany were bitter enemies, and they were fiercely competing to gain a political advantage within the Ottoman Empire.
Then there were several centuries when the Ottoman Empire was the center of Islam.
During WW2, Turkey stayed neutral, despite having both the Allies and the Axis trying to convince it to join their side. Still, Turkey did send two SS divisions to aid the Germany against the USSR.
And just as the war was ending, Turkey joined the Allies, declaring war on Germany. This granted Turkey founding membership status of the UN. They also got financial help from the Marshal Plan. And also got financial aid to maintain it's Army. By 1952, Turkey had received 350 million US$.
By the 1960's, when this money was running out and the Turkish economies was collapsing, the Menderes government even tried to start negotiations with the USSR for economic support, but failed because of a military coup.
Turkey was also in the centre of the Cuban missile crisis. And this was only resolved, when the USSR agreed to remove nukes from Cuba and the USA to remove nukes from Turkey.
And to this day, Turkey still receives a lot of favors from the the EU and USA, because of it's geopolitical position.

To be fair, the Russian tactics act like this is the case, when you’re obviously right in that it isn’t. They can’t just send young men into the meat grinder forever, but it seems like that’s all they know how to do.

You gotta remember a few things, one the west didn't know how this was all going to play out, everyone thought Russia was gonna roll over Ukraine, when that didnt happen they supplied the right type of weaponry to halt and start hammering the Russians, after those successes we moved to longer term thinking, so we started to train them how to use himars, western artillery systems etc once those where deployed and making a difference we then trained them in tanks and no doubt NATO warplanes AND crucially to all this, the logistics and maintenance of these systems, supply chains, forward bases close to Ukraine needed to be built and set up to start receiving the influx of all this weaponry and for distribution chains to be set up to get it where it's needed AND all whilst still engaged in a war with Russia, that shit takes a lot of time even in peacetime ffs let alone an active war.
I get it, we all want to see the end of Russia, we want revenge, we want to see Ukraine utterly humiliate and destroy what's left of the Russian army and kick them the fuck out in a state that'll ensure they'll only be useful for internal suppression, but patience is the key and NATO ain't about to flood Ukraine with weaponry that could fall into Russias hands, honestly when Ukraine starts to make it's moves it's gonna be a bloodbath and no amount of concripted factory workers, plumbers, teachers with 3wks training is going to stand in the way of NATO tanks steaming across a battlefield with support from F16'S

There have been around 62 western tanks confirmed so far and that includes the 31 Abrams that won't be there for months. So that leaves 31 Leopard 2s that might be ready in time for a Ukranian offensive in the spring. If they decided to use those tanks in the Zaporizhia direction, thats 31 tanks for a 100km frontline which comes out to less than 1 tank for every 3km of ground. Thats nowhere near enough for an effective combined arms offensive on such a large, heavily fortified front.
They need at least 200 western tanks to make a breakthrough that extends all the way down to the Sea of Azov and I don't see them arriving in that quantity anytime soon.

This is what should happen:
War with russia:
1) EU+US should push there army's into ukraine and whipe russia out of ukraine
2) Remove the leadership out of Belarus and put a pro EU puppet in there
3) push production for missile installation systems 900 of them every 2 km along the entire boarder of russia ( or whatever floats there boat that is capable of whiping out a entire russian invasion over night )
4) push a 500km no army zone into russia over its entire boarder range, announce it to russia that any militairy activity will be dealt with, through missile systems, any drone shooting into any EU country will be met with missle retilation into there country's on critical infastructure. Hold basically the country at gun shot.
5) EU will finance the systems and maintain it through EU budgets, that every single country in the EU will push there GDP towards.
6) Put warrants on Putin's head and everybody of power in russia + there family's to be hunted down.
7) Any country that deals with russia will be seen as enemy of Nato and dealt with, until putin gets extradited and his entire mafia squad towards den hage and face justice there. After that and democracy returns to russia, there markets will be opened again. However Russia will have to pay 50% of its military expenses from its GDP towards ukraine until damages are paid as a requirement and dissemble there army's to a minimal.
Nato:
Nato will become the new world order from this day on.
1) Every country that participate into it, will be able to access markets for trade with nato no free travel or anyhting on this level what the EU is doing, just pure market agreements.
2) Militairy support will be granted if a non nato country starts to war you.
3) New rules will be pushed with nato, leadership and power of a party has to change every 8 years for every single country under it , if that does not happen and country's agree its not happening within nato with a more then x ratio on vote, you will be excluded from nato and seen as a natural enemy that has to be dealt with as u will get the communisme label. ( this is good for the EU also, because even western country's like netherlands and germany are ruled far to long by a single leader )
4) Every country in nato will push 1-2% of there natural GDP towards it to finance additional costs it pushes.
5) Entire east of europe + north gets added towards nato within a week, any country blocking this will be kicked out of nato.
6) Taiwan joins Nato
Preventing the rise of European world power the EU:
1) Lowering the influence the EU has into the country's it falls under. Instead of becoming US like, military and markets can be combined through nato not through brussel, the US will have the bigger say into this and not the EU, because people are getting access towards the markets through Nato, Brussel will be outdated and can be dismantled or reduced greatly which solves the issue of a rising power called the EU that will create massive issue's in the future.
Destruction of Communisme:
1) Put every single communist country on a list and start dealing with them one by one over the next decade, instead of focusing on the entire block u single them out and deal with them effectively.
2) Recognize how they have power, why they have power and start to make active changes no matter how damaging to get rid of being depended on them.
3) Every country that does not change leadership after 8 years will be seen as communist country and be heavily sanctioned + military intervention by nato country's. All the power of the president so even installing a puppet for there party government will not work, it will be seen as them still ruling that country and be seen as a communist country as result.
3) Start focusing on turkey and after that china.
4) Turkey should have re-elections and ban erdogan from participating within months of this annoucement, also any influence through pushing a puppet where erdogan is found to still be in leadership will be seen as him being re-elected. Erdogan will go full hitler / putin because his colors will be shown right away. The population of turkey can deal with erdogan themselves this way, and stay a member of nato, or get exluded and will be seen as a natural enemy. They will get the same treatment as russia gets, becoming completely isolated until the country dies off internally. This will solve the rising dictatorship shit show that turkey has going on over there and there hostage holding of refugee's towards the EU, within a year.
5) China is next, but requires more time to be dealt with. China's age is over. They are getting blacklisted by everything and banned from everything until they follow nato rules, there economy's and markets that the EU/US relays on will be pushed to other Nato friendly country's over the next 5 years and after that is finalized nato will hunt after china with a ultimatum that within months a re-election has to happen that needs to be done through valid democratic ways. If not, they will be dealt with accordingly by cutting them off the world markets and every single country in the world as result and start hunting there leadership down though any ways and all there family's that are connected towards it. They will get the same treatment as russia.
China is a risk to the world everybody knows this, covid shown this and has to be dealt with sooner rather then later.
6) solve north korea for once and for all, after china is falling over north korea is next. WE evacuate south korea from the boarders and move them to saver area's for the time being, we push nato army's into south korea and start to hunt and kill the north korean leadership and dictatorship, install a democratic ruler that will join nato and there markets iwll be pushed forwards + new education will be given designed for a function world for them to live in. If north korea glasses outh korea city's, so be it. Nato will rebuild them and the problem of north korea is gone the next day. Start expanding nato in the east and south entirely.
Unify the world:
We should start unifying the world, make it impossible for country's to rebel and keep the world stable this way but maintaining there own cultures. Once this is done in the next 30+ years, we should move military budgeting away from militairy and focus all this money entirely as a world GDP of 5% on space travel to finally once and for all make huge progress on this shit. We should start developing far more functional engines for space travel and start to really figure out a way to see how space around us works and if we can move further past this sticks and stones warfare we got going on right now, we can actually make some progress and move to the next level where we should already have been sittin in.
Future generations will thank us.
