Well, yakuza is simple, and it effectively says the basic premise of the game very well, I'm up for it. I mean... just bring the damn game and I'll buy it all over again. ;)

Das von der Presse mehrfach ausgezeichnete Action-Adventure von SEGAs renommiertem Producer Toshihiro Nagoshi und Star-Buchautor Seishu Hase entführt den Spieler in die gefährliche und erbarmungslose Welt der japanischen Untergrundorganisation.

In einem Land wie Japan, dessen soziales Gefüge sich traditionell auf Werten wie Respekt und Ehre begründet, existiert eine Macht, die noch mehr Ehrfurcht und Folgsamkeit verlangt: die Yakuza! Der Hauptcharakter des Spiels, Kiryu Kazuma, war einst auf dem Weg an die Spitze der Yakuza, bis ihn eine Intrige für 10 Jahre hinter Gitter brachte. Die speziell für Yakauza entwickelte Combat-Engine erlaubt dem Spieler individuelle Combos zusammenzustellen, um damit ganze Banden gleichzeitig auszuschalten. In den Kämpfen lassen sich praktisch alle Gegenstände wie z.B. Tische, Schränke und sogar die Angreifer selbst als Waffen verwenden. Und umso mehr Kampferfahrung Kazuma sammelt, desto mehr erweitern sich sein Skill und seine Durchschlagskraft.

Das Nachtleben von Tokio und seine kriminellen Schattenseiten sind komplett in Yakuza integriert– und erstrecken sich von lebhaften, mit Neonreklame gepflasterten Vergnügungsvierteln samt Nachtclubs, bis hin zu original nachempfundenen Einkaufsvierteln. Kazumas Fähigkeiten lassen sich auch während diesen Streifzügen weiter trainieren, und durch Extra-Missionen wie etwa die Bestechung von Informanten oder illegalem Glücksspiel zusätzlich ausbauen.

I know this is petty, but honestly, because I have limited time, this has become a major factor determining whether or not I get a game. If it's a Japanese game, and especially if it takes place in Japan I want to hear Japanese language damn it! Hearing the word "Yuh-kOO-zuh" makes me cringe.
