If anyone is looking in Las Vegas, Fry's Electronics (on the south Strip) has a big stack of 120GB slims.

The process shrinks for RSX always seems to be a bout 8 to 10 months behind the process shrinks for Cell.
So we could see A reduced RSX at the end of summer.

If they are not back in stock within the next few days, I'm just going to pass on the PS3 until Last Guardian.

Maybe they limited supply to match with what they were saying about supply being tight.
THINK ABOUT IT.

To be fair, they have told this exact same story before and it was a lie that time. Boy who cried wolf and all that rot.daxter01 said:first 3 pages of this thread is amazing everyone called this news a lie now it turned out to be true

tokkun said:I played both of the PS2 games, but finished neither. They start out strong but the combat tends to wear thin for me after a few hours. Fun, but not something I would buy at launch for full price.
The main reason I'm thinking about a PS3 now is that several of my coworkers are going to be buying FFXIII on launch day, and I'll want to be playing it at the same time so I can take part in the water cooler talk. If I can't be assured of receiving the PS3 by launch day, I would rather just buy the marginally inferior 360 version of the game.

Kagari said:Like I said, you can still order it off Amazon, they'll ship it when it comes back in stock, and it has been periodically in and out of stock so you'll likely get it within a week or so. You can also try retail shops. I know Frys, GameStop/EB has them in currently.
They're selling them for $369.95. :lolKagari said:Amazon.com has them in again... weird. Edit: Oh, it's from a outside supplier.
Well the way you post so much in this thread, pretty much proves my point.OldJadedGamer said:The irony here of course is that you responded to my post.

tokkun said:That's a third-party. You can still order from Amazon for $299, but it's on backorder.
major life decisions...tokkun said:Yes, I already have it ordered from Amazon, but if they don't get a new shipment by Tuesday or Wednesday, I'm canceling it and going the 360 route.
The ball is in your court, Sony.

Why didn't you get one online?Duxxy3 said:Had to buy a used slim at EB - only PS3's available were 40GB refurbs.
Negator said:Yup, the only place in San Antonio is a store that sells exclusively to the military.
Shit. Guess I'll have to order online.
