I agree, but the janitor story wont be in the media. A VP story probably will.This only looks bad on Jim if he doesn't walk the walk after talking the talk. The rank of this employee is also largely unimportant. If you own a company, you wouldn't want this from your janitor or your CFO.
I said this many times in different threads, but our office had a sexual accusation debacle that involve months of investigation and various people getting picked to be interviewed. I never saw this story in the media. Why? Because it was some no-name marketing coordinator (who lied and got fired after).
But if the VPs or CEO of my company got nailed with a sex investigation, it'd surely be in the media.
